Bobmanuel, this is my philosophy. I will never invest in any place except in Igboland. I have been told many times to buy land and houses in Abuja and Lagos, I blatantly refused. Those areas are not Igboland.
There is nothing wrong in investment made outside Igbo land, people are buying properties in America, UK etc, wherever opportunity presents itself, there is nothing wrong with that, the world is a global village
Whatever a man sow he shall reap, it's the same with communities, tribes and nations. The Igbo nation is a rare one, an average Igbo man is a developer who changes the fortunes of any community he finds himself , this cannot be said of our compatriots. My advice to Igbos is not to emulate them, don't emulate evil less you see God's grace depart from you, as you continue to be an agent of development across the nation and beyond, remember home because charity begins at home.
Our people in the village should also change their mindset and become more accepting, tolerant, and open-minded. If we can stop negative competitions and start working together by understanding that everyone created in this life is unique, different in our abilities and talents. Empower your people with what God has blessed you with. Then stop taking issues to the ❤ while, forgiving, and moving on, which will help us a lot.We need central trusting authority that we all can work with.A chosen Leader for all of our people.God created leaders and put them there. But rulers rule over people like dictators while leaders make way for the people to prosper.Nigeria presently and in the past has been lead by imposed rulers not leaders.
Good advice to the igbos in general.
