Such a pleasure to listen to the Bishop - I'm from NY Long Island and Please tell Bishop Sanborn he reminds me of the Priests back in the late 60's when I went to Cure of Ars Catholic school in Merrick - A no nonsense, straight shooter that gives you the strict version of Catholicism, not watered down - I must say, his stern approach does bring back memories of when I was a 7 year old and scared to death of Catholic School :) Now at 66 years old, I'm glad I had that structure as a child.
as always beautifully informative to me a Novice order Catholic living in Liverpool England brought up in the deception but know I wouldn't be aware now if it wasn't God's will God bless and protect you MHT
Hi Joseph! Are you aware that there are lots of non Una cum Masses here in England? And even one of Bishop Sanborn's RCI priests? You probably do know, but just incase!
The explanation of history from an authentic Catholic perspective is priceless. Yet raises many questions; ie, if the Church "Christianizes" cultures, by, say, accepting polyphony where it once practiced Gregorian Chant (which sounds alot like adapting to culture) isn't that an argument for a "Mass in the vernacular"? And can't that idea be extended to include even "Synodality," where the Church (ostensibly) tries to "Christianize" or "adapt to" the current global "culture"?
No because the absorbing of culture never involved defecting from the Catholic faith. Vernacular mass & the things of the modern world (birth control, divorce, ecumenism, etc.) have always been condemned whereas polyphony, baroque art etc. aren't deviations from Catholic doctrine
I'm Irish Catholic. What would have been allowable for me to do in 1910-1920 in terms of getting British out of Ireland? I know I couldn't have been on IRA, A condemned group. But - I don't want foreign govt in Ireland. Or, for that matter in Vatican.
#Question I got very limited Catholic formation. Born in 1960. Is there Catholic (sede) Individual who you can recommend to give intro to Denzinger or Summa Theologica? Taylor M does one, but he's an RR heretic trained at UD, A wicked school. My Dad very sadly went there in later life.
#question It's1925, Mexico. I love my family, country, Priests/ Sisters. I know my duties to Pope when he teaches on Faith and Morals (thanks to Bishop, Steve, Father Cekada etc). But Pope tells us in Mexico to lay down arms... It's not a universal law. Must I obey? In any case, I must be respectful

Excellent! Just like you said, compresses a big chunk of history into a short discussion. Very educational. Thanks! & God bless!
Only discovered this channel today....❤
How well explained !!! God bless both of you and Fether Desposito who is probably behind the camera.

Excellent as always. ❤
Thank You.

What is the best history book to learn from a Catholic point of view of Western History/World History.
Please discuss the significance of the difference between Baroque Art & that of Rococo.
Different eras in art history that came after the Renaissance. Research up each to see their characteristics.
Deo Gratias
