There is this rare species of dancers of who you can‘t take your eyes off. Maria is one of them, she fills every move with so much passion. Incredible stage presence. I can‘t wait to see her in a lead role!!!

Now I want to see her as Carmen!! She is stunning. And I love that she actually looks like a proud young woman 👩🏻 I hope we will see more dancers like her in the future. She has hips, breasts, cheeks, and she is simply beautiful 😍 Not to mention her incredible dancing skills, of course. Her Vaganova exam performance with those fouettés and tour jetes were jaw-dropping, even the Russian teacher‘s jury applauded spontaneously.

La BULANOVA is an irresistibly stunning "BAD GIRL" here with fantastic and defined pantomime while maintaining a fierce imperious regal femininity perfect for the role and clearly a natural gift.
My only minus points and given because of her already high caliber is:
The variation has to match the level of the pantomime. It could be that she's still in the process of fitting it to muscle memory. She's got to give a deeper combre derriere on the knee pose, give more Spanish flamenco fire even throw in a triple pirouette, she has it. It does work the way she does it, but at her level, more is MORE.
She's a great treat to Mariinsky fans.

I like her more than Khoreva. Amazing dramatic actress. So happy she chose the Mariinsky over the Bolshoi, though I love both theatres.
I know right? So many people are praising Khoreva for her perfect technique, and rightfully so, but have you seen her and Bulanova dance side by side? She just disappears next to Bulanova's incredible stage presence and acting skills!

bulanova is lovely, but khoreva is objectively more pleasing to watch.
