Sending prayers and healing to you and your mom. Having lost my 89-year-old mom three weeks before Christmas, I realized no one will ever be ready to lose a parent. There is never enough time to spend with them before they pass. Trusting God's wisdom and Divine timing gives me much comfort and healing. Your strong faith in God will get you through your mom's passing, too. Keep Ruby! The money you need will come to you in other ways. You are loved. ❤
Thx so much for taking the time to share your story. This has encouraged me. I know it will be one of the most difficult times in my life. But as you said, my faith will keep me. ❤️🙏
I feel your pain. I went through that a couple of months ago with my 92 year old mother. I still visiting my dad at memory care. I only have partial freedom of local camping once a month, but I missed November & December. It’s a tough time. I’m sending prayers to you!!! Keep Ruby!
DO NOT SELL YOUR RUBY!!!! You will regret it. To replace her will cost way too much. Just wait! I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I have you both in my prayers. Take care.
@@shellyjay8954 thx Shelly! I decided to keep Ruby! Going on our first journey in April. I have not been out with Ruby since last august, right before my mom came to live with me.
I feel for you...being a caregiver isnt easy. Watching family fade is so hard emotionally💔 Sending positive thoughts to you and your mom.❤️ As far as the van....why not keep it as your daily driver? I assume you need a vehicle. If you have another, sell that one so you can keep Ruby for your inner peace😘
I had my 98 yr old mother living well in my house for 1.5 years. In May last year she was put in hospice in my home with an infection from a hip surgery and had quit eating. She died in June. It was easier than I thought with all the help from hospice. Mom struggled both emotionally and physically as once she prayed for 18 hrs straight. She once barely spoke saying she didn’t need to go to Heaven because she had already been there and hell too. I witnessed all that. That was very hard to listen to as the hell with her soul was intense.
As painful as this journey is, it's also one of God's greatest gifts. The (Cycle of life) is such a beautiful thing. From birth, through life, upon our death, It's all part of God's plan for each and every one of us. I remember walking out of the hospital the nite my mother took her last breath, to a young family who were taking their newborn home. The love and excitement of the infants sibling, to see their baby brother for the first time..shook me deep. The Cycle of Life. It's beautiful. It's painful. It's God's plan. Hating lost my mom in Aug, and my mother in law the month prior, I feel your pain. But caring for our parents is the greatest honor. p.s. I saw you walking your dog about a month ago, and I wanted to stop and ask about your mother, but I didn't want to seem creepy. I was driving through and was like, I know her, that's Royal Ruby!...and Teddy!
Thx so much for these kind words. They are a Blessing to me. Next time you see Teddy and I walking, stop and say hi! Sorry for your loss that you had to go through. Death is a part of life, sadly. My mom will be a hard one for me. But with God’s help i will walk through the pain. And also with the prayers and support of all of you. Thx again.
My brother passed on the 17th under similar illness. If there is itching due to Morphine, Dilauded may help as a pain reliever. Dilauded is significantly stronger. Adivan "may have misspelled the medication" it is designed to help with anxiety. God Bless You & Family.
