Venus was definitely playing some sick standing bass in an ancient Greek jazz band. Century eggs are delicious, but I tend to lean toward the more logical "they just needed to preserve the eggs" theory as opposed to the more exciting accidental theories. This is definitely a favorite series for me! It's always full of stories and theories I've never heard before, and it's unique on this platform. Thank you!
Lol that theory is just as good as the rest I reckon. She could have been doing any number of things really. I kinda wonder if she was playing the harp myself. I've never tried century eggs, but I love the story of how they were discovered. Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed! I love doing the history ones.
@insomniatv8840 In all seriousness, if she isn't a goddess, I do think an instrument like a harp or lyre would make sense. The theory that she was making thread for a loom would also make sense.
Thank you, I'm always happy to hear when someone likes the history ones. Those are my favorites to make, I know they dont get as much views...but it's my passion.
@insomniatv8840 Your passion for history truly shines through them. I'm always intrigued by Your research, seeing that my Eastern-European perspective on the subject is quite different. Pre-colombian stuff especially blew my mind!
Oh wow, I would have never guessed you was Eastern-European. I will have a new Pre-Columbian video after this next mega series one. I hope you enjoy it!
I was definitely leaning towards holding the apple, but honestly, I always just thought they must have busted while he was carving it and didn't think about it till now
By coincidence I was literally spinning (wool) with a drop spindle while listening to this and trying to imagine the position of the missing arms and it didn't occur to me at all until you said that!
I personally think of Vlad Dracula as one of the most interesting historical figures of all time, definitely the most interesting Romanian figure, for sure
So what happened was in the research, I first came across a source that said he was using a bow and arrow. Then the rest said he used a crossbow. But I didnt change it because crossbows fire bolts, not arrows..which I didn't feel like explaining. Plus in every other telling of the legend "Shooting an apple off one's child's head" it's always a bow and arrow.
At my place I'm the first one to wake up and the last one to go to bed.. At my job I'm the first one to arrived and the last one to go home.. And over here I'm always last..🥺 Thanks for the upload, Insomnia TV..💖
Guys will watch this and say hell yea.
Thanks for being such a long time subscriber!
@insomniatv8840 Thanks for all your work putting out great videos all this time.
Hell yeah
Hell yea.
Hell yea! Your clever and unique comments all over UA-cam get my balls so moist.
Edit: oh "Guys"*! My bad...
The mystery should be how any of the statue is still together at all after so long.
Wow another great collection of mysteries, and as always well researched... Your channel deserves way more views
Thank you so much, maybe more people will notice this year 🤞🏻 Thanks for supporting the channel though!

Tonight we're delving deeper to learn the more fascinating side of history. I love that less popular side to Your content!
Thank you, I'm always happy to hear when someone likes the history ones. Those are my favorites to make, I know they dont get as much views...but it's my passion.

Absolutely. He is more than what people think. It's a shame that no one remembers his military genius.
Awesome 👌 sauce, another video already 👍
Hope you enjoy it Jen!
William Tell used a crossbow not a regular bow.
So what happened was in the research, I first came across a source that said he was using a bow and arrow. Then the rest said he used a crossbow. This is a good one.
that's what I'm talkin about!
As a woman of Greek descent, I love all the Turk slander in this video🤌
Haha is it slander if it's true?
@@insomniatv8840 Now that's what I like to hear

Read The Odyssey, not the Iliad. Unless you like lists of ships 😂
No for all their critical acclaim, I couldn't get into it. I started Iliad and had to stop not even a quarter of the way through.
