Reties should not hurt like that! If it gets you a headache, it's too tight. It's so normalized for us Black women to accept pain when it comes to our hair, this needs to stop! We have to take responsibility for our own body and tell the stylists to do it more gentle. And If they don't listen, demand it!
I agree I did tell her but still got them but I have a new person doing it now but it still leaves the pain after but not as bad as the first one n she doesn’t feel like she does it toght because in the moment it’s all fine it’s when I get home I think my head just super sensitive lol because these people say that they don’t get the complaints from clients.

I did it like a few days before I locked it, then I did it again about 11/2 or 2 years later
