Considering they were not American or British whatsoever they did was make good music. Venus may have been their biggest hit MARISKA wanted Never marry a Railroad man to be their first release. People who know nothing about their music should actually know more about the artists. Some idiot said it’s a cover of the Bananarama hit 😂 They were not even around back then. The song VENUS started with Goddess on a mountain top. On some of the recordings it GOODNESS On the actual music sheet that is what the first word was. It was misspellet and MARISKA not speaking English was only singing to the words that were written on the sheet music. Her style of music is from singing Ballads to the songs of the likes of Crace Slick so she must have been doing something right. I’ve listened to her since her first song Summertime in 64. Reason being she sounded like my favourite female singer back then. Brenda Lee was one of the best female singers of the time.
