What's the purpose of a metal plate welded over existing bucket teeth on smaller buckets? Is it to act like a smaller cleanup bucket to reduce dirt lost while digging? Because gaps in bucket teeth leave dirt behind as the bucket gouges the dirt.
Because we dig around live utilities every day the plate lessons the chance of hitting them because it’s not so sharp and the spotter can see everything because it’s a clean trench. I highly recommend it!
You never get a decent trench going through rock...... but you got a decent one there!! We call hammers on this side of the pond peckers, I know, same language, different meanings 🤭 Tidy little job too..... Maybe your next tip of the day could be watch where you are going 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Great job, thanks for sharing. How long does it take to switch from the bucket to the hammer, and how long to go back? How long did this job take you? thanks !
Matthew Krall this is the fourth cam trailer I have owned and the last two I feel like they have lost their quality. The main reason I go with them is because of their hitch plate. Everyone else uses the two bolt adjustable neck but cam uses a rigid four bolt system. I don’t know if I will buy another one but I usually trade trailers every three years. If you find something better let me know. Thanks for watching
@@fulltiltgrading8366 I'm from NEPA and saw you got your trailer from trailer super store in Carlisle, pa. I bought my bwise dump trailer from them. I was looking at that same exact trailer, but found diamond c. I ended up getting a 22' 18,000 gvwr tilt deck for my mini x. It's really nice. I'm glad I didn't go with the cam.
@@arjaya I wasn’t really impressed with all pro trailer. I still I don’t have my title. What dealer did you get your diamond c from ? I am in the process of ordering one now out in McAllister Ville. Thanks for watching 👊🏻
@@fulltiltgrading8366 The guy at trailer pro treated me very well. I was going to buy the 18k cam from them, but really liked the diamond c. I bought it from the same place you are looking. They didn't budge on price like trailer pros did, but overall I'm pleased with the diamond c.
How many lbs does that hydraulic hammer hit with? I've got some big limestone boulders in my yard and am wondering how big of a hydraulic hammer to use
Never mind. I saw in another video that it's a CAT55D which is a 500lb class and it looks like it's getting the job done pretty well. Thank you for your videos. Subscribed!
@@voodoomanclothingco.3102 thank you for checking out our channel and subscribing. I have had the HD 55 hammer for about nine years now and it has handled everything I have thrown at it. Good luck buddy 👍🏻
Looks Tough but Awesome work.. thanks for sharing!
It was a pain in the neck of a job but you take the good with the bad. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

All that bucket flipping has to be driving the operator nuts. Looks great though
Gregory Bondi it makes for a long day and not knowing where the existing utilities are makes it even worse. Thanks for watching Greg 👍🏻
How do you like your Cam trailer over all and would you buy another one
