I agree with the other commentators. You are the best wig reviewer on youtube. I never buy a wig until I see what it looks like on you & see what you do with it. Marvelous job on this one. I'd really like to see the color next to Shaded Bisquit.

Thank you for "playing" with your wig on camera. I love watching you figure out just the right style or updo. Your finger-parting of the hair is new to me, too! Thank you!

I'm so glad I found your videos! I have a couple questions and really hoping someone can help before I make another investment. Is there a slightly longer version of this wig (similar cap because I love wearing a center part and clipping a bit of the front back from my face).. also, if you had to choose between belle tress and Raquel welch, is one more realistic at the hairline than the other?? I love my belle tress balance wig in butterbeer blonde, but the ends haven't held up too great, texture wise, and ive had to snip at it (in other words, time for another, sadly)

Wow! I just discovered your channel and it makes me want to get a wig. I can’t grow my hair, I’ve tried and my natural hair is baby fine and straight. I keep it really short because it just looks thin and even with product it’s difficult to style. I’m 52 and I really want to try a look like this, I think I would feel younger and sexier. I love a rooty look so that it's more natural, but I think that by having the lighter less rooty color in the front, you don't see the knots and so it's even better. I looked at this wig on Patti's site and I would have never guessed the color correctly. It looks more gold on the site (at least on my monitor). I know you have some favorites but do you sometimes guess at colors or do you have an opportunity to see them all in person?

Hi Julie! Always great to "see" you. ;) I love Belle Madam wig shampoo and their conditioning balm (not sure that is exactly what it is called) My latest how I wash my wig video shows those products, and how to use them. I like BeautiMark Style & Hold hairspray..it is a little wet, but not as wet as some. I found that if it isn't a little wet and sticky, it won't hold well at all. I do love the Jon Renau styling line for synthetic wigs (except their hairspray and or their detangler) but, everything else is great. Stay away from their shampoo & conditioner sadly....I never had good luck with them. ;)

**** I just need to make one comment/suggestion about adjusting your wigs at the front hairline. You definitely do not want to lift the wig up by the lace front ever. You will end up ruining that lace. You always want to pick it up by the ear tabs only if you need to adjust it. You can lift the whole wig up when you lift it by the ear tabs and you’re able to adjust everything. I was trying to figure out how I ruined the front lace on one of my RW wigs, and it was because this is what I was doing. I was lifting that wig up in the very front to pull it down or pull it back or if it slid back and I needed to pull it forward. Then I watched a video from an advanced Wig Wearer (This was years ago, right after I started wearing wigs seven years ago ) advising things “not to do” with your wigs and I figured out when I was doing wrong. Please don’t make the same mistake that I did. I’m just trying to help you ladies with your wigs and pass along things that I’ve learned, and I’m still learning, so that they last longer. We can all learn something new, no matter how advanced we are in wearing wigs. I’m still learning things all the time. These lace fronts are very delicate, and the hairs are hand sewn into that lace area one by one so you have to be so gentle with that lace front. Jill, this was not meant to be a dig at you by any means, but we all can learn something new all the time and I continue to learn new things from other wig wearers all the time and I’ve been wearing wigs for seven years. I try to pass on what I learn and I wear them every day from the time I wake wake up till the time I lay my bed on the pillow. This is a beautiful wig on you Jill!

    Hi Jill
You are definitely my favourite reviewer & styling guru. Love all of your videos & try to watch them all. I can't watch your live on Fridays at the moment which is a real bummer! I have a question that maybe you could throw out to all your lovely ladies? I am addicted to RW Shaded Biscuit & have about 6 of RW wigs now. My question is, does anyone know or have any ideas about how to lighten the roots slightly. I notice with some of my shaded biscuit wigs they are significantly darker than others. I love the rooting but wish it was not sooo dark at times. I have seen lots of you tubers adding roots to blonde hair but none lightening the roots, I don't even know if its possible??? I would appreciate your knowledge & may be others out there that have the same problem. Thanks Jill, stay safe & hoping your husband is doing well. I am sure you are a tower of strength as always. Hugs from UK Samm x

    • @JillLynnBeautyTherapy
      @JillLynnBeautyTherapy  3 роки тому

Thank you Samm for your nice compliment, and am thrilled you enjoy my channel! Regarding rooting question, I am not sure anything can be done, other than perhaps spraying some powdery dry shampoo lightly toward the root area. That will 'dull' the root a bit, but not permanently.

I bought simmer and I ended up not liking it I don’t like how I can’t tuck behind my ears because the wig doesn’t do all the way to my hairline by the ears but it does on top along the forehead what a shame is simmer elite better ?

Thanks again for the great video. I’ve been wanting to buy Simmer for awhile, but need help with color. My favorite is Creamy Toffee R by Noriko, do you have any idea what color would be close to that in Simmer by Raquel Welsh? Would greatly appreciate your help!

I wish I could help....I just haven't experimented enough with color choices to be giving great advice there. You could take a look at Shaded Golden Wheat, or Shaded Wheat.

HI Jill. Well, another stunning look - I wish I had a fraction of your styling talent.
I am struggling with color. I love Shaded Praline on my Ignite, but really do NOT like it on the regular synthetic Parker. (Pus that style is just not good on me)
My question about SS Iced Latte Macchiato...it appears quite gray in the back. Is that just my monitor? I should also note that I typically wear Toni Brattin in Lt Blonde and it seems to work well for me. Just cant seem to find a style that fits and color that works.
Also, I generally don't seem to get good coverage in the front like you do. I always have a fair amount of bio hair sticking out. Ignite is actually too small. Ordered the large and it was too big - the lace front was buckling and standing away from my scalp.
Any suggestions? (Sorry to be so wordy!)

Hi Carol. It is much ashy 'er' than the light blonde in the TB line. It's even more ashy than Shaded Biscuit. As I described it in this video it does give off some grey vibes...yet, it is quite beautiful. Hope that helps??

Those are scams. They steal content from channels. All of us wig reviewers get our videos stolen and used to rip people off, and there really isn’t a whole lot we can do about it. Do not ever purchase anything from these people. The only place you will find my videos is here on my UA-cam channel. 😉

You put a pretty clip in the back but never show the back. You put all the hair up and then pull your natural hair out at the nape.and then some.wig hair and again never show the back. Please.lose the frontal still sbotsnpver and over again and show the 360 each time you change styles.
