This is the worst story I ve seen in long time. He abused her again and again. Why the screenwriters didnt gave her another path. She was pitiful in both her lives. I just had to skipped lot of scenes because it was terrible to watch her being abused.

Don't waste your time watching this insane drama. The king is horrible to his wife. He treats her worse than garbage . It's another evil king, and then he wants his wife to forgive him because he didn't know what his evil mistress did. These writers are depraved and do not know right from wrong. Hate this kind of drama. I check out the endings now before i waste my time

I have noticed a common plot in some Chinese short dramas where the male protagonist abuses, rapes, and humiliates the female protagonist, and then she forgives him. I am trying to understand if this is a normal theme in Chinese culture or not. To me, it seems quite absurd.

*_Another movie, that will leave you feeling disgusted..the ML believing his father/mother were killed by the lou family, goes on a killing spree right after marriage to their daughter aka FL..he also brings the fang family's daughter as concubine..the FL's misery starts therein...her father is killed, the FL's mother sold to be violated in a military barrack and all the other members of the family killed including a 5 year old nephew and her aunt beheaded in public, in her presence..the only living relative is a younger sister, who has been taken in by a monk, and thus escaping the clutch of the ML...the FL is imprisoned,poisoned, sold to common men to be violated by them and made as a slave, to clean toilet buckets...she is even made pregnant, by repeated forced intimacy, so that the 2FL aka concubine's poison symptoms can be treated by the heart blood of the infant..the FL is told her girl child died,as the ML threw it into the cold river..she goes from losing memory-to going white haired and then coming back to black hair..her expressions remain the same..one wonders if the FL became so disconnected, that she barely cares about expressions, but she has a smile on her face..the FL's tortures go on and on for _**_1:20:00_**_ mins outta the_**_2:10:46_**_...the Ml shows no regret, but he wants her to forget everything and live with him, as he also imprisons the concubine and cuts off her tongue.he does that out of political frustration, as the concubine's father controls the court and doesn't let the ML succeed,in his plans of waging wars & becoming an emperor...this is the one movie, where even the mistress, receives punishment, similar to what the FL suffered..her mother killed,her father tortured and their power brought down. this shows the ML to be calculative, cruel and plotting/killing his enemies or anyone who tries to overthrow him.ultimately the child is shown to be protected by the ML, who knows it is his daughter and the FL, now takes care of her child.soon he becomes emperor and wants to crown her as empress but just 3 days before the ceremony, she dies by slitting her wrists, after calling him to have drinks and looking at him lovingly albeit telling him that, she can't live with the burden of all those deaths..her sister and a monk take away her body, away from the ML..the FL shows no great emotions, except for crying but when it was time to take action, she doesn't bother about it.. one would have thought, she would have killed the king, destabilized his dreams to become an emperor, gave the child to the 2ML, who saved her many times and died..after all when your entire family is killed in front of your eyes on the wedding night, how can one even laugh or smile..why shouldn't one think about revenge, whether it is successful or not--remains the question..her parents are found to be not guilty..so why were the father/mother killed???wasn't it in vain?_*
