Lydia, your energy and enthusiasm for life is brilliant. Im 41, perimenopausal, 2 kids under 10 and my ambition and joy de vive left around the first lockdowm. I hope it comes back! So for now whilst im in early mild perimenopause i will enjoy these vlogs and maybe ill stumble on something that i am just as passionate about. I don't by any means mean for the following to sound rude or like a hater because I do enjoy your vlogs - the way you constantly explaining yourself about everything you do or say makes me think you arent actually as secure and unbothered as you also constantly claim to be.

Lydia thank you for saying what you said in your video! Not everybody needs to know maths to be considered smart! I struggled through all my education in Portugal and in England with maths until last year where I finally pass maths and gone to university to study a health course! We all have our strengths and weaknesses and who thinks that they are good at everything they may not be good at interpersonal skills for example…the society created a lot of unhealthy stereotypes and convencional social status and boxes for us all to fit in! I also seen that same quote this week “you cannot be everyone’s cup of tea because you are champagne darling!” So there we go cheers to your success and openness and realness with everything….i have watched you growing and evolving and as a 39 years old woman I’m also evolving and learning and feel that is so much more to learn in life…cheers to us all improving and loving life at whichever life state we are! 🎉❤love FFF by the way…❤🎉

I wore your Sweed, Rose Thorn lipliner and Wild Rose Lipstick yesterday. It surprised me because it was more spice coloured than the nude I expected, but it was comfortable to wear, very moisturising and long wearing!

Lydia can I just say the one thing I do not like in general & therefore puts me off some F & F items (not all obvs) are tassels I do not like them on anything & the brand does like a tassel. I have no doubt your items will be fab & grt quality - goes without saying. A stylish bag for country walks - not too structured - strap that is not going to mark your clothes too much & no tassel in your collection would be fab.
Also can it please be big enough to put a book in! I don’t buy bags I can’t put a book in 😂

Gees, I have so much fun watching your vlog. Sometimes your already watched posts are my background BGM while I patter around the kitchen getting dinner ready by myself. Your sharing of insecurities or explanation of things, thoughts or basically everything good and bad makes you so much more human and real. I too am absolutely useless with numbers and somehow I have ended up working in finance. I am not sure how it has happened but you are right. An academic limitation does not have to define you.
On another but equally important note we should all be blessed to look as fresh and lovely as you do without any makeup.

I love your content Lydia. In a world where there is so much sh*t going on, your corner of the internet is always so joyful. I love your house content and your adventures… I’ve been here for a long time (since the early 2011 days… I think 2011, when you had long black hair and made your own yoga pants!!) and have loved seeing you grow ❤
Lydia, people who refer to them selfs as "not very academic" because they did not succeed in the classical educational environment, maybe are successful because they have ASD, ADHD, dyslexia or dyscalculia and tend to be very skilled and talented in other fields. For example dyslexic people are often very creative. Studies have shown that people who are dyslexic have “enhanced abilities” in certain areas including discovery, invention and creativity. Some people's brains are just wired different and this contributes to exceptional’ performance across a range of “cognitive abilities, system skills, complex problem-solving skills, content skills, process skills and technical skills.” So don't down your self anymore saying "I am not academic." The world needs a diverse range of people with different abilities and skills. How boring would life be if we would all be the same :-)
