After I watched this I looked up Claude Littner’s email address to thank him for his openness about self-esteem. He very graciously took the time to reply and thank me for writing. Hardly the actions of a sociopath.

He criticises the CV and Business Plan of EVERY SINGLE CANDIDATE, dismissing them all as useless and worthless ... and yet, his Boss selects one of the Candidates to be his Business Partner with a whopping £250,000 Kite. Must be REALLY GREAT working for a Fell'er lilke him ... you'd get slagged off just going for a Flippin' Slash.
Great speech, and although the question was an odd choice for the guest, his answer was terrible and totally missed the point. The audience member asked about generational wealth and Claude went off about people wanting things for free and he Labour party.
@Redstar Dwight It's a joke. Nobody thinks it is a serious comparison, but it's enough of an unexpected resemblance to be humorous, particularly if you are familiar with his character on The Apprentice. There is a lot of personal and social value in learning to laugh at ourselves. I'm sure Claude would laugh about it too.
These students do love to bash the government no matter who the guest is, they always turn political and try to push the conversation into a left-leaning debate.
@@tdtm82 Yeah they're intelligent for their very limited life experience. Also most right wingers are not like Trump - and I don't even think Trump actually has the views that he spews out - it's all politics to get voted in. But my point was about how they turn every debate into a political one, which it doesn't or even shouldn't be.
"Labuor want everything for free". Well that's just misinformation. The Tories have a history of low-tax manifestos. You can't fund society if there's not taxation. If we asset-strip our services we have no assets left to manage and therefore less wealth. Which the Tories did. You only have to look at the train service and the Post Office for mismanagement of privatisation. I don't understand his logic at all. Other than that it was interesting. He's a capitalist and would profit from his friends. Of course he's done well in business.
How scary and sad. He devoted his mind and soul his whole life working to make more profit for already wealthy people....then espouses classic “old, white, rich man” complaints that workers shouldn’t expect social services. These old guys aren’t going to be around to see the suffering their life’s work caused.
I agree that his answer to the social inequity question was weak, he doesn't take into account the differences in property prices, wages and inflation since the 1960's and makes somewhat vague and sweeping generalisations. That said, I'm not sure what his age, race or gender have to do with anything?
@Jonathan Bowen She is obviously one of those people who do not listen but rather build straw men because they are intellectually too weak to engage in a real discussion.
Sir Claude is a good story teller. I am surprise how quickly he connected with the audience but I think he is being strategically humble.
I like Claude. He may be an emotionless sociopath, but I like him.

Very intelligent man.
Imagine Claude testifying against you in court. He’d leave no stone unturned.
