I'm happy to see my blog pic To our tradition libyan couscous on ur video 😊
You also able to use any meat 🥩 🍗 or even seafood on it..U Prepare it in new different ways then I do 😁 At first we put a few chopped onions and garlic, fry a little until spiced, then put the meat ... and the spices and the canned tomato paste ... and mix it well on the fire and leave it on the fire for a little ... Add a little water to spruce up the tomatoes ... then leave it until The liquid decreases and we add all the water to the surface, you can add .. some vegetables are cut into small pieces of carrots or potatoes and 🌶 pepper, and leave it until the water boils and add the pasta after it breaks it into smaller pieces than the one you broke, and leave it before it ripens and add the basil leaves and We extinguish the fire..

Amazing series. consider me subscribed! I love the way this is set up (organized).
only complaint is some of the audio is very trebly and unlevelled, but hey that's fine! For a fun, casual cooking channel this is really cool.
Also I think it would be great to not just have this dish as one dish per country but have the genuine meal (like, say, a specific style of Libyan cold coffee or wine, and some of their specially cooked spiced bread, and something nice for dessert!). but Inalso understand the cost of doing this while running a casual channel, it could easily reach a hundred dollars or more for the ingredients.
All in all, I learned a lot and had fun. Cheers!

hi u did good but u did it wrong abit, instead of using chicken we usually use meat and we never use jalapeños we use felfel which is just hot peppers so maybe try that next time, and some of us add the garlic and felfel in with the onion then add more again later , and more traditionally we use actual tomatoes , blended or chopped small , u could also add chickpeas as some of us do 😊, there are many recipes here on youtube

@@Cliffieland you did nothing wrong , the people who wrote the recipe online did not actually give the right recipe. In our region we first put the oil first and wait until it heat a little bit and then we add Fenugreek seeds and move until we see it a bit golden(that's the magic key in this dish ) then we add the onion and wait until it become soft and then we the tomato past along with chill powder +turmeric + salt and And mix the ingredients until the color of the tomato changes to a darker color and then put the amount of water and when the water starts boiling we add meat when the meat is cooked and water is reduced to the third or the over half, we put the pasta (if you think water not enough to cook the pasta, then add a bit of water to cook ) , after few minutes add a fresh green pepper and then when it finally about to be finished add the seven spices + Caraway + black pepper and this is the basic method and I am sure you will like it
