I'm tired of the makeup comments. The makeup for videos is done professionally. A lot goes into colors that are used. The lighting, background, the angle that it is being shot at, and a lot more. It also helps set the tone for the emotions and attitude that she wants to show. The makeup alone is an art form. If you people are so great at doing makeup for stage and film settings, go get a job doing it. Don't judge someone else's creativity. I know that I couldn't do it. That's why I watch it and can appreciate the all of the different aspects that have to come together to show us Connie's vision.
+B. Cor_lux I agree. You're right. It's fine to criticize artists work, butt the amount of people critiquing her makeup lately is crazy. Makeup done under the lights and on camera is different and darker than every day makeup. As for the color editing... I get the impression that the lighting is supposed to look like the glow that you would get off of a cell phone screen in the dark. If that is what they are going for, it's pretty much right on.
+9012505a Its the lighting on her face. Observe the color of her right arm. Compare that to the color of her left hand when she raises it to her face. It almost matches the facial color, while the other arm is much darker. Its simply an attempt to recreate the effect of blue-white light from cell phone LEDs. Cool light is never as flattering as warm light.

I have been listening to her since she walked out onto the stage with her front teeth missing and showed Simon what was up. I have felt her soul in every song and this is absotively posilutely more of the same. She is just cool beenzzzz.

Great song in short. Really good vocal. I won't comment on the choice of colours and makeup. Accept that Connie is in a stage where she is figuring out who she is, how she wants to appear and what effect it has to all her loyal fans. At the same time she is a normal teenager and many people are telling her what to do and giving her wellment advice. My advice right now is: Let Connie experiment. Keep supporting her. Don't put too much pressure on her. One day she will have that big record deal and go viral. When she is ready.
