No worries! It really depends if you prefer to read more or watch more when studying. I personally use Language Reactor more, but still use LingQ. If wanting to read more, definitely LingQ. For videos - language reactor. Language Reactor does have a free version available so you can’t really go wrong there :)
Does Lingq choose reading material specifically the ones with the newly learnt vocabulary? This would be enough for me to use Lingq. I found this critical in reading.
In a way, yes. When selecting a lesson, LingQ shows 3 figures on it: a blue figure (representing new unknown words), a yellow figure (representing learned words you’ve added), and a white figure (representing already known words). So you could pick a lesson that has a higher portion of yellow words.
Thank you :) You can select any mini story at any time. You don’t necessarily need to go through them sequentially. They’re basically just individual lessons. There’s a couple ways you can go through a lesson. You can turn on a setting that allows you to go to the next page without changing the status of the unknown vocabulary. (eg. if there are 5 unknown words, moving to the next page will leave them as is). I do this if I want to read through the whole story first without touching words, and then go through it a second time and tap on each word. Or you can toggle the setting so that moving to the next page automatically marks words as ‘known’. This is what I do for french because I come across known words a lot more often, and will just mark unknown words manually. To mark a lesson as ‘completed’, you will either need to have gone through all the unknown words and changed them to ‘unknown’ yourself, or the tool will mark all the words as known. It’s a bit hard to explain but hopefully that helped somewhat :)
Pearson made Apps the number one.👌🏻 * it's will take You step by step uper level. *Also You will not forget what You learned becauseits logic really very smart.
