Is this the best real estate lens ever?
IRIX 11mm f/4.0 Blackstone lens is by far my favorite lens for real estate photography. I was able to shoot about 40 houses in the past couple months and wanted to talk about my experience with this IRIX lens. Real Estate photography is heavily dependent on a high quality wide angle lens, I I think I found my new favorite lens.

Great video, thanks. And amazing shots. I think I am in love with this lens.
It was common for me to use a 12mm lens and also I use a fisheye lens not as fun lens. Then I got the Canon 11-24mm and find out that this one mm (12 to 11mm) is a lot. But the Canon is ver heavy in the front and I only use the 11mm end. So i sold it and bought the Irix 11mm Firefly. I'm very happy with it and I find that it is better than the Canon zoom lens at the 11mm end. The pictures look more brilliant and show better colours.
Using an 11mm lens on full frame sensor need some training. But if you care for the right angle and picture composing at shooting you get excellent pictures like shown in the video.
collieultimo what's your opinion on the difference between 11 and 14mm in interior photography?
Thanks, Jwalt for your review of Irix 11 mm. I'm using a Tamron 15-30 excellent lens, and Nikkor 24 PC for Architecture and interiors. Sometimes I need more, just a few millimeters would make the difference and I guess that Irix would be the next one in my bag. Thank you :-)

L White pricing is specific to market saturation. There isn’t a lot of competition here in Illinois, so I am able to charge more than someone in New York or Los Angeles or somewhere.
What's your opinion is it worth upgrading from Samyang 14mm f2.8 to this Irix 11mm f4?
