You can make several keys for the same vehicle. During programming the device gets paired to the VIN of the vehicle. Different vehicle require a new programmer
Do you have to wait for the door locks to cycle before you press the buttons? My car starts up but neither the eight second or four second programming works for the keys
Yes, the locks should cycle before the vehicle will learn the new remotes. I recommend calling the toll free customer support number when you are with your vehicle and have the keys.

Yes. As long as your key starts the engine and lets you drive the vehicle it will work. Any fob button features that were factory original will function. It can not add features to the vehicle that did not come from the factory.

I followed the instructions on the booklet and video and somehow the lock button for my key fob for my 2012 F-150 will remote start the truck instead of locking it. I've tried to reprogram it several times using method A & B but same results. What do you recommend?

The programming equipment does not delete other paired keys on Ford vehicles.
