Came back from Ibiza in 2002.. picked up Dave Pearce' Ibiza Euphoria on the way home: best thing about that album was this remix.. utterly banging tune. Alphazone remixed (and made) some doozys. Damn do I miss the days of Hard Trance and Hard House. You can take your "generic EDM chopped down for commercial viability and sanitised to be radio friendly poptastic bland commercial bullshit" and f***ing shove it. There was a real energy, from about '93 through the next ten years or so that will stay with all of us who were there at that time forever. Nobody was a hipster, everyone just loved the scene, the tunes and the people. I think I'm getting old... :)
