The command to halt should be called on the left foot. The marchers will then take a step with the right foot as normal, and then take a half-step with the left foot, bringing it even with the right, and stop, remaining at attention.. at 9:15 timestamp on this video. Please follow the standard of Pathfinder Marching and Drilling Manual

I guess Column Right & Right Flank command, both preparatory and executory command, should be given in the right foot..likewise with the Column Left/ Left Flank on the left foot.
