The other day my son brought one of our baby bunnies into the bedroom as I was taking a nap. She is a pure white rabbit. I would pet her a little bit and drift off to sleep only to have the bunny sweetly lick me on my nose to wake me up so I wouldn't stop petting her. The bunny just wanted me to be awake and present, petting and loving her. I had no idea bunnies could be so affectionate. I feel like this is the heart of God. A lion with the sweetest lambs heart. He pursues us, pounces on us with the fierceness of a lion yet once He gets us He just wants to lick our face with the sweetness of a lamb. The lion with the lambs heart. It's powerfully tender. Powerfully humble. Powerfully perfect.
The Lord is a Gentleman. He doesn't force himself but he beckons you come up higher because he has more to say and more to show us. He's so loving and the perfect husband to his Bride
Lord, please let your will be done in my life. Please let me fulfill the purpose you created me for. Lord, please let me want and yearn for you more and more as each second passes. I love you Jesus!
