I’ve been highly impressed. -instead of forcing a STARTER FLASH cuff onto the filter…we use a 2”vinyl cuff which slides on/off easy-we shorten vacuum hoses to about 4” and then add Flash cuffs (thus eliminating the starter cuff) So there’s 2 of these on the side facing the machine-with Female Cuffs. Then on the front facing the home, we use 1 of these modifications with a male flash cuff. Doing this: allows us to easily slip off all of the cuffs whenever necessary-
Beautiful sound :) Somebody could tell me something...Almost I finished my ETM system...It will be necessary to put, for example 200 feet of 2,5" hose for longer distances ? Parameters of ETM it's over 700 cfm and 14 inHg...
Hey Rob, I usually run my filter upright. This allows me to have a 360 degrees pull/flow. Once you’re done cleaning you can actually see everything sitting down on the bottom of the filter instead of piled up on one side. My question to you is. Can we go back to the drawing board and redesign this particular filter to stand up right. Let me know what you think. I would love to buy one.
Interesting. Unfortunately that would defeat the purpose of the Boss Filter. The design allows the water to pool into the back concave portion which perpetuates immediate water removal. This allows the filter to breathe and maximizes vacuum (CFM, lift and flow).

@briansapp1076, I know this has been over a year ago but do you have any pics. Thanks.

I use a small carpet skidded to plug any ports I don’t use.
@@briansapp1076 good deal. I just took a starter cuff end I had laying around and capped it. The 1-1/2’s caps were tight but eventually got it on.
