The former Yugoslav rock band Bijelo Dugme released a cover version of this song in Serbo-Croatian using the same melody, but with very different lyrics.
Lyrics of the song which is sung in the performance of this band was inspired by a song that was sang by one of the Jasenovac camp inmates during the time in the death camp.
