I bought finnish beers in germany, some months ago. I could only get Koff, Karhu and Karjala.
Now I'm drinking a Schlenkerla Rauchbier while watching.
Suomi!
Well personally I always enjoy an old faithful Karhu after a good sauna. It's surpricingly refreshing then...
Koff has a great porter, which we drink in our Porter & Stout episode. The standard lager is very bland. Same goes for Karjala.
In a feature episode wer'e going to compare two Finnish craftbreweries to each other. Hopefully you'll find that one interesting.
Karhu is the beer or Koff. Koff is like 200years old
Funny episode with some well known beers from our home country. Keppo is best!
Which finnish beer is the most bavarian Lager style? Helles or Dunkel or perhaps Schwarzbier?
Full bodied, low bitterness, aroma hop and not as sweet as a Doppelbock like Salvator.
I think that some of the breweries that are brewing according to the reinheitsgebot could manage that. Koulu, residing in Turku perhaps would be a recommendation in this case.
They have some experience in this field. Their beers are coming up in a future episode, quite soon.

Karjala is literally worst beer you can buy in Finland.
In my and my friends opinion, lapinkulta is worst🤢
All the basic lager beers are almost the same, I dislike Koff the most though but it is really close to Karjala, Olvi, Karhu & Lapinkulta still. I'm Not counting garbage tier lagers like Lidl Olut, Pirkka Lager or Rainbow Lager etc.
@@kala1780 Seems you don't drink much beer. Lidl olut and Rainbow and pirkka are way better than Karjala, Olvi and Lapin kulta. Best cheep beer in Finland by miles is A.Le Coq
Karjala is best
Karjala is the worst beer in Finland (with Lapin Kulta). Like Fosters in Australia.
