Dylan rarely slept or ate during his long world tour starting in Australia. No wonder he’s a little wasted man. He’d just released Blonde on Blonde his greatest album. Praise the man and love him for what he was giving his fans all over the world. He won the Noble Prize for this as much as any album he made. Dylan gave millions of people his luminous hard work.
Dylan just finished up his world tour with constant booing and walkouts during his electric sets. He'd have his motorcycle accident in a couple months and in a few months the Beatles gave their very last concert as well. Seems like he's wasted and just wants to go home now. I was born just after all of this
@@Anthony-hu3rj You deserve credit for the most creative remark. Well, in the arts, people can assign genius status to anything that they like, that they see as cleaver. That's the minimum standard. So, OK, you want to see him as a genius, OK, he's YOUR genius. Media heroes in the arts, are often given this label. (Remember the "Clapton is God" stuff? This reminds me of that kind of thing.)
Dylan seems very insecure in Lennon's presence. His nervous laughter, non stop banter, and smoking, give him away. And, Lennon is tolerating being with someone who is stoned. There it is folks, the exciting conversation between rock stars. Try not to yawn.
Bob Dylan vs John Lennon. I think John won this one. I had this same conversation with a drunk guy on the corner. I might have been drunk myself. Or maybe I was talking to myself.

Thansk for cleaning up the film! Love this.
My friends and I had conversations just like this in college while totally wasted.

EPIC. how is there no official release for this!??

Dylan is so wasted here. Really anoying in some moments. Lennon seems umconfortable but trying to keep up the conversation. Great work!!
It's Ronald Coleman (the film actor), not "Coeman", and it's Sleepy John Estes (the blues musician), not "Sleepy Julius".
1965 not 66.
Thanks
interesting that a drunk genius is just like the rest of us
Yes, except for the fact that Dylan's not a genius. He's a folk songwriter with clever lyrics, and run of the mill melodies.
@@KenTeel Ken, Ken. He's a genius AND he's run of the mill.

66 was a good time

Weird interpretation of a man who looked up to Bob Dylan. Have you ever been around stoned and drunk people? he's just very high
I agree. He sounds like he's 12. And I love Bob's work. The person, not in this video
My sweet lord🎵 hallelujah
Tom just agrees with anything 😂
Eh, I've been drunker.
He trippin his nuts off😂😂
so glad bob ain't drivin
No direction hotel
I wish I could talk English man🙂↕️
Can Bob be a tad "high" here? lol
Few milligrams of silkies maybeee
Idiot wind!
Poor John, he wants this car ride to be over!

Lennon's British properness doesn't seem to know how to handle Dylan here.
hahahahaha
Does Bob ever stfu? I love his work, but he sounds drunk af. Just shuckin and jivin'
Dylan stole all those traditionals, added some new words to them and then copyrighted them.
He's a fraud
what a childish point of view
@OGRE_HATES_NERDS you just don't want to accept the truth. THAT is childish
@@Io-Io-Io you dont know dick about the history of 20th century music
Didn’t Paul say the Beatles were the biggest criminals in music because they used to steal so much, as great artists do according to Picasso
