“I didn’t choose you-you chose me. I won’t chalk up the truth to disease” hits so hard. My mom is a toxic narcissist and this song is incredibly relatable. So glad I found you guys
Nostalgia is knocking at my door. Such throwback sound to the late 90s and early 2000s rock. This is my JAM! 😎 The guitar's sound reminds me of early Third Eye Blind. The rest got me like Alanis Morrisette, Mazzy Star, The Sundays, Liz Phair and Smashing Pumpkins all colliding at once. My soul is touched ❤ Thank you!
It took a minute (two listens) for this song to grow on me but now I cannot stop playing it. Love the visual of the red text over the grainy black and white close up.
What a song and what a year for Blondshell, this and Docket in the same year. So glad I got to see her live. I love that she has variety but also similarities in her songwriting but also HONESTY. I hear lots of influences and feel no need to ID them. I think people should think more before making comparisons, it can come across as a way to be dismissive of a great song.
"You always had a reason to comment on my body،you're not a perfect person, Somethings always wrong but I know there’s nothing less perfect to a girl than a mom" ع الجرح 😔
I'm a 70 year old grandfather of 3 and this song rocks as hard as anything Eisenhower tried to ban... Don't know why I lied right there I'm 40 but great track 👍
Blondshell's mom and my priest should go bowling some time. Adults can be such cowards and it's nice to hear someone scream it every once in a while. Blondshell seems to be picking up where Courtney Love left off. It's a heavy torch but someone needs to carry it.
I just want an entire album that sounds like Olympus. Olympus just feels so organic. It doesn't feel like an attempt at creating a Hole/Sonic Youth sound it feels like it simply was torn out of the pages of another time. I need an entire album of that shit....inject Olympus into my veins.
You want her to create the same song's energy in for a whole album and then begin to list artists that have nothing to do with her personal artistry in hopes of her sounding more "organic"....this comment is so ironic
I’m so glad that we got a whole future of great songs to look forward to! Sabrina has done it again! Wow, what a song!!
please let this be foreshadowing an album release
The blondshell scream >>>
The clip evokes warm nostalgia of MTV of the late 90s and early 2000s 😌
love how this band gives off such early 90s grunge era vibes.
Everything is everything. Genres no longer belong to particular eras. This is instantly timeless.
Blondshell fully and perfectly represents my inner voice and mood and it’s so cathartic
“I didn’t choose you-you chose me. I won’t chalk up the truth to disease” hits so hard. My mom is a toxic narcissist and this song is incredibly relatable. So glad I found you guys
Bravo Blondshell, the sky is the limit for this tight band!! Vocals are so good and love the additions!
It feels like a song from the 90’s and I think that’s one reason I like it.
Excellent jam once again from this band ….. really great stuff lyrically and musically … blondshell proving indie music is alive and well …

This song has that timeless great vibe.. Just jams yet manages to be chill somehow. Love it
The sweetness of the voice captures immediately without any doubt. Loveable moments to see them alive recently. Je l'ai aimé!

So easily, I can imagine the band this song playing at the Bronze in "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" series. Love it.

Who’s here in 2024?
This is the catchiest song of the ‘90s
I am way too excited about this
on repeat, relatable
Same here.
Heard you guys for the 1st time at The Gorge, opening for Glass Animals. Thought you were great. This song reminded me so much of my mother figures 😂.

👌👌
It's 1994 all over again ❤
Is this a single or new album on the way?

Came here from Eleanor Neale 🖤🖤
Очень бедные низкие частоты от 20-80 герц.

You should do it!
Did you listen to the album it's on? There are other songs like it on there.

@@delia_watercolorsYes it's a solid album. That's by far the stand out song though.
@@nightcrawler8864nothing ironic about pretending Blondshell isn't heavily inspired by Hole. That's just denial
❤
