They chose the right guy to ask to demo their products, this looks awesome and your thorough demo of how to put it together was great. Looking forward to seeing the other lights. I just have a Philips Living Colour Iris table lamp as far as LED lights go but always interested in cool new types of LED lighting!
Can you adjust the light settings of multiple lyras at the same time? Or do you have to adjust each one individually.. I.e. if I set 4 different gradients across 4 different lights, can I save all these together as a scene which covers all lights? Or would I have to go back and adjust each one individually?
I did end up getting a Lyra and have, The emmersion kit that comes with the light bars, you can sync Lyra to the emmersion kit. I ended up with a second one also to balance out the emmersion when watching a movie or tv. How did you get them? I had to go through eBay. Cannot buy them here. Very hard to get hold of. Govee won’t ship them outside the USA. Even not available at Amazon
Doesn't look like it's available for sale in the UK as yet, not on the UK Govee site. However if they're giving the lamp to UK UA-camrs to review I doubt it will be long before we can buy it. Great review Paul 👍
@@TheTechGiantUA-cam great video as usual 👍🏻is there like a slow smooth rainbow colour setting, also looking forward would love to know when available in the Uk.
he wears sleeves! Kidding. I do like the looks of this however I'd be worried about the light being so thing and presumably more fragile than a regular lamp. How stable is the base? How easy would this be to acccidently knock over? How sturdy do you think the LED strip would be if you were to drop it?
I don't think you'd easily knock it over as there isn't much weight up the top. And even of you did knock it over,I don't think you'd do much,if any damage at all. The light strip (as shown 2:28 & 4:28) is rubber,so that should be perfectly fine. The pole if it were to get bent, could be bent back again. But again I don't think that would happen. Put it this way,if I had to put money on it,I would say nothing would happen at all if it were to get knocked over, and a regular lamp would definitely be more of a worry than this.
Is this not for sale in the UK mate? I can't seem to find it on amazon or anywhere else. Hopefully govee send you the immersion kit, got it a few weeks back. It's unreal.
Hello tech giant. I just bought new Samsung Q7OT 55” I get stunning 4K image but sometimes when I’m watching a black animal, Ape, bear etc I get this strange pixelated effect and sometimes when it goes to night time, I get crazy blocky pixelated effect like I’m watching in 144 p. From what I described, does this sound like either, faulty tv? Just need to turn on or off a setting? Or could this just be a floor in the tv itself? Like I say, regular 4K looks stunning but I paid £900 for this tv and I’m but stressed. I was worried that dark scenes may be too dark then I get something totally different.
I believe it is a new product,so hopefully it will be available soon. The other Govee lighting that I will be showing should be available to those in the UK 🙂
Yes mate it does. There is honestly so much customisation, you can have it like a full on rave,or slow and soothing. And of course you don't have to have it going to music/sounds at all.I often just set it to one of the many presets, where it will it will gently glide through different colours.
Unfortunately it isn't at the moment, but hopefully they will bring it to the UK market. Good news is that other Govee products I have are available to UK buyers 🙂
Honestly mate their stuff is really good. All my lighting is Phillips Hue,but I'm now going to switch over to Govee. It is cheaper, brighter and is RGBIC and not just RBB,meaning you can have multiple colours on at once on the one light strip or lamp, where RBG is one colour at a time.
That is soo true. I was just thinking of ordering philips before your previous video where you mentioned about govee and I had a friend tell me that name so I was like wait, let's see how this goes. I checked a few videos and saw ur video now and I'm convinced that there is no need to put more money into lighting solutions, philips only comes out top for the ambilight in my opinion. I do like the RGBIC lighting of govee more too.
@@UltraInstinctZz Well as you would have seen I have a number of Govee products that I'm testing and will be posting videos of,so keep an eye out for those in the coming days.
For sure I'll keep an eye on em. I guess some models might be available in the UK and not here in Germany but I guess it's always possible to ask them to be delivered here.
Looking at these, not paying over $300, not worth it. Nice, but far ro expensive and when thr app becomes finally outdated and won't wirk anymore. It's useless as no remote
@The Tech Giant still far to expensive. Got one half the price, and does almost as good, the remote is better, music mode is just as good as your govee. Your paying for the app software, the components are not that dear and can build these things much cheaper then thr Govee. Does not look much brighter than mine

I bought 2 a while back. They rock. I took them to an evening pool party at a friends house. They lit up the whole back yard.
Yeah they certainly are bright 😎
Awesome. Like Govee products affordable yet premium quality.
You had me at spare screws and a screwdriver. Great video I've been thinking about getting some more lights, this looks perfect.
Yeah it's nice that you get those extra screws and screwdriver
Awesome product. Thank You for sharing 👍
Just bought this govee light from amazon based on your recommendation for Christmas!👍

The LED strip will NOT break, unless you're going to stamp your foot on it. So when you have a discussion with you’re partner….take a walk….😉
Sir can i ask u something, does LG IPS PANEL SMART 4K UHD TV CAN HEAT UP EASILY THAN VA PANEL? Many thankz too you for your responce!

Mate another gadget I need to buy,my missus will kill me now.
Just blame me,I don't mind 😉
I estimate that you snore in your sleep .... so .... 24/7 light and to the rhythm 😃
Nice Effect but that Lamp makes only nervous ...
Don't like calling these budget. In price, yes but the product is high quality.
I have and love Govee products but $150 for that lamp???? UH BIG HELL NO from me. $30-60 ok maybe. but 150? F no!😂
For what it does and compared to rivals,I think it good value.
a sexy review
