MASSIVE props to Izzy 2 days off a loss and he didn’t cancel any of his interviews that he surely thought would be his victory lap
Yeah, really surprised by how well he handled the loss. This wasn't some narrow decision loss where you can take the L with your dignity intact, he straight up got finished on the feet. That's simply a bitter pill to swallow and he's been dealing with it like a champ.
@@robbylawlor4259 he got caught. Literally every fighter knows they can get caught. He also knows he was definitively winning that fight before those ending moments.
I respect anyone that doesn't hide after an L and takes it in stride. All the haters in here mad because he's getting love in the comments lol. Hate harder wierdos.
Not a Izzy hater or anything like that but he’s handling it much better than I expected. He’ll be back for sure 😤
Why would he hide? Do you know how much he got paid to fight? Regardless of the outcome he still got paid

He’s so likeable, man. So down to earth. What a legend.
He says that he views himself as player one in a video game. That's pretty narcissistic, kinda the opposite of being down to earth. I'm glad Alex put him in his place.
@@zumis1011 Well almost every champion, and great fighter needs to have that belief. If he viewed himself as player 2 then he’s mentally accepting that he is not the best. 75% of being a fighter is about your mentality. To be a great fighter you need to believe you’re the best, the most talented, the greatest of as he calls it “player #1”. If you don’t have that belief & you don’t project that outwardly then you’re likely not going to be a champion. He can be a great, humble, down to earth man as he navigates through life, and then be a insanely confident man in the fight game. He is good at turning that switch off once he’s not in the midst of doing his job as a fighter.
anyone else back here after that win last night? I am so inspired right now, he made me want to better my self. His post fight interview really got me
Yessir, definitely. You will never feel that level of happiness if you don't go for something in your life!
I listen to that post fight speech just to hype myself up for anything I'm nervous about.
Alex is going to watch this and start training his spice tolerance immediately 😂

this might be the best hot ones interview. the chemistry was amazing and izzy's responses to sean's amazing question were immaculate. my favorite moment was the little "thanks for having me" moment
I think so too. But Adesanya went in. He made this episode because he's so well spoken, raw, mix of cockiness and humility. Dude really surprised me this episode. This is one of my fave of all-time because of Adesanya. Sean usually manages to do his thing and make up for dull guests, but he rode the Adesanya wave and let him take over a bit, and it was worth it. Also, Adesanya asking Sean a bunch of questions is what really made this more of a conversation and less of an interview. It was great!

Big ups to Adesanya. I mean this guy is full of good vibes despite the fact that he had a loss just 2 days prior. Big respect for you champ.
For real, I don't think people are recognising that enough. the strength of character that it takes to lose the belt you've dominantly held via your first loss in your weight division and via knockout, *and still* be the same spirited guy literally two days later. i love how he’s actively promoting Dan, an amazing, exciting fighter than doesn’t have as much recognition he deserves
Stylebender acting like there are no camera's rolling haha with these insanely casual answers. It's insane how he went through what he did and has this demeanor 2 days later.
