Hi Alex, I bought your Itinerary and was just wondering in some parts of the Itinerary you suggest booking the night before, is this safe? also, do you think Yao Yai, might be rather quiet for a solo traveller, (I don't like too much crowds, but also want the option to do things)
Just visited Ko Yao Noi 4 months ago and it quickly became one of my favorite places! Not many tourists, stunning views (especially at sunrise), beautiful beaches, lots of great options for activities, and amazing curries. Definitely going back.
We are watching from Ottawa, Canada 🇨🇦. We looove you guys ! Every episode from this amazing Thailand jurney, we watch with joy, laughter, and a desire to learn. Alex, again, you are such a wonderful story teller. And the way you guys report on the delicious food its soo real...we feel like we are dining with you guys.😜💕 Great job!💕 Thank you for sharing all your experience wt us. 💕
Hoi 😂🎉I’m watching from Taipei Taiwan! Thank so much for uploading these beautiful vlogs. They are indeed very nice ones 🎉🎉🎉 Thailand is a beautiful beautiful country with beautiful friendly people and rich cultures Subhan’Allah I ran into your vlog randomly, just now 😊 Im actually looking for islands of the less travelled bcoz I’ve been to many of them in the past years already. Glad to know these two islands are Muslim dominant so that “Halal” food and drinks will be easy to get unlike in so many other islands or up at Chiangmai changrai BKK etc…. Where food just wasn’t for me 😂😂
I like your videos we like the same off the beaten track places. Where do you recommend staying in Ko Yao Noi? And Ko Yao Yai? And koh lanta? How do you get your travel recommendations?
Hey Michelle, you're going to love the Koh Yao islands. You can find out all my tips, including accommodation by shopping MY THAILAND ITINERARY HERE: bit.ly/2WeeksinThailand ✨
Added this to my collection for travel vids, for Thailand. Looks wonderful. I don't think I'd leave until I had to go "home". (. Love the ever so subtle displays re 420 friendliness. Good to know. Blows my mind, when I think back to when I was in the U.S. Air Force and I had so many peers stationed in Thailand. Late 70s. Yeah, I'm ancient, 😆 Oh, the stories they told! )
What an awesome video Alex!!!! I enjoyed every minute of it, you have such a beautiful talent for capturing adventures. You killed it :) Adding this to my bucket list for sure :) Sending good vibes from California's Central Coast!✌🏻
I stayed on Koh Yao Noi for a month in 2016! I was getting major flashbacks, especially the fishing village on the west, (amazing sunsets). I kayaked to the very north eastern beach resort and tiny Kudu island. Your vid reminds me how laid back and self contained island life was. Thanks🙏
Phuket is much more expensive and more crowded. Grab a copy of my Thailand itinerary for all my best information, tips, favorite restaurants, hotels, activites, attractions and secret spots. Check it out here: bit.ly/2WeeksinThailand
If you go back to Noi, hop on a scooter and go over to the west side of the island in the early evening and sit at the beach bar at the Purana resort. Anyone can rock up and spend an hour having a wonderful drink on the beach at their bar while watching the most amazing sunsets ever.
I made the mistake of watching this while eating my lunch during a break. I had just taken a mouthful when you uttered those words at 23.57. How I managed not to spray food over the table I'll never know as I convulsed into a true belly laugh. Still, the other couple are probably complaining about the brunette voyeur 😂
I'm planning Koh Yao Noi for January, 1 week. What would you recommend to stay, on which beach or part of the island, where you have cafe, restaurants but it's still serene and quiet? So not too isolated but definitely not too busy. Thanks :-)
Sounds awesome Peter. I’d suggest grabbing a copy of my Thailand travel itinerary to make the most of your time there. All my favorites, hotels, restaurants, cafes , attractions, beaches, hikes and more. bit.ly/2WeeksinThailand
❤While on Koh Yao Noi dont miss to visit Treehouse-Holidays near Laem Kor beach to make some stunning photos from these incredibly artisticly hand build treehouses and Yoga place ❤

Palm oil is also used in most of our processed foods. Just about anything you can find in your supermarket, bar fresh fruit, vegetables and meat, contains palm oil. Have a look at th ingredients the next time you buy something in a box or a can.
Did you need a licence for the motorbike? Would love to ride around on the island because its so quiet, we are going to Thailand soon but was not going to ride anywhere but the island looks so quiet and alot to see might be worth it. Love your vids
