Iten is beautiful, but in Kenya, you haven’t been in Tigoni or Kijabe. Those are the most beautiful villages in my list.

Did you have to put Switzerland there...its just the beauty of Kenya Switzerland is not the measuring standard

That is not a dam but Lake Kamnarok which is a seasonal lake and one of the few ox-bow lakes in Kenya, found at the base of the Kerio Valley. I can hear the way the high altitude is making you breathless. I lived in Iten for two years...I miss the place.

Iten is just Iten and Switzerland is Switzerland. Africans should love being African and quit comparing our unique spaces with European countries. Why are you talking about whites being there/wanting them to be there? smh. Also the previous tour guide Jim would've given you an amazing detailed history, the unique winding roads, the paragliding spots nearby and many other things about the view point, it's not all about the views and and zip lining. She must love instagram pics and seems clueless about the place.

He didn't say its Switzerland, he said it "looks" like. The environment and design of the building gave him Swiss vibes!

@@swts4k Comparing Iten to Switzerland doesn't take away it's beauty. The earth was created by God, there are bound to be similarities in nature here and there. Have a good day

@@bellaolum9768 exactly my point. The beauty of Iten is Iten's and should remain with its own unique identity away from anywhere else. You'll never hear a straw/thatched roof house in England, which they have in plenty, said to be "looking" like those somewhere in Africa. They're unique to that part of the world. Cheers

Every place has it's own beauty that should be appreciated. Ever seen Chyulu hills in Makueni, Namunyak wildlife conservancy in Northern Kenya, The Chalbi desert etc I used to think that the rolling hills of my hometown Kericho was the most beautiful place on earth but the more I travel and get exposed to different destinations, the more I appreciate the unique beauty that God painted.
