  • This is an update to a previous video showing how to set a static IP address in Ubuntu Server 20 using Netplan. This video will demonstrate how to adjust the YAML config file for Ubuntu Server 22 and how to verify the DNS settings using 'resolvectl' as a replacement for 'systemd-resolve;.

    Hey, I cant find any solutions for that but can u tell me how exactly you "Tab" the name of a file? I press tab and it doesnt just complete it for me

      but here comes another question, I don't have the static.bak file, how can i fix that?

    thank u for the video sir...But I need help...What is the logic behind the lines...and spaces''like building this tree structure...secondly...what if I want to configure only one interface and leave the other one disabled but configs not deleted??

    I am using 23.04 and .yaml file says
    "Let network manager manage all devices on the system"
    so I set my static and dynamic ip address through nmtui, which i find quite easy
