I lost my best friend 2 days ago. He had cancer and kidney failure...
He was my cat, only 5 years old, and I have no idea how I'll make it through the next few months of school without him, but this song will definitely help along the way.
I lost my cat (Rifle) about 10 years ago (he was hit by a car). He meant everything to me. Even after that experience I struggle to understand what your going through. But I can tell you one thing, life goes on and while I may still miss him, I have learnt to cope and recovered completely which I’m SURE you will to. I’m so sorry for your loss. I will take time.🤗😸

I’m studying away from home for 2 years already. My grandfather passed away a few days ago back in my home country. I made a cover of this song and sent it to my mom one day before he passed. I saw a couple get engaged to be married on stage while Rachel was performing this song back in Minneapolis.
I met my girlfriend coming off a highly emotionally abusive relationship. My ex was an alcoholic and even prior to that had a personality disorder. I had gotten used to a way of being where I felt ashamed of liking the things I liked, where I genuinely felt like I didn't deserve love. Men can be abused and emotional abuse is horrific. I got out of that relationship and years passed before I met the girl I'm with now. The difference is night and day and I remember hearing this song a few months after we got together. For me it really is true, this world is a better place with her in it. She's shown me what a healthy relationship is and loves me for all my nerdy/geeky/whacky self. This song totally encapsulates what that transition felt like for me. Thank you for this song.

I have BPD. There are rumors about ppl like me. But it doesn’t make me a bad person. I struggle emotionally and mentally and I’ve been through some of the roughest patches in my life, and I don’t blame anybody, but then me, and other BPD ppl shouldn’t be blamed either. BPD is a disorder, not a choice. I’m working on improving myself and feeling better, I’m truly grateful for my boyfriend to always supporting me through the worst days, and not only laughing with me, but also crying with me, to this very day. When you love somebody you dont make excuses and you would be with the person all the way. Love doesn’t know obstacles. If you truly love somebody, you wouldn’t call them “abusive”. You would see the love behind their anger, and fear through their arrogance mask because you do have a choice to. It’s easy to blame ppl, put all the weight on them and/or leave them but try and stay with ppl through their worst effing times! You will see that they just need love, support and understanding, and that can help them heal and be better partners. I wasn’t always my greatest, but my boyfriend loves me and chooses to walk the path with me no matter what. I’ll always be grateful and love him for that, and for being himself, because the best person you can be is yourself. I’m not justifying myself; I’m just saying BPD can be living hell for the ppl who are diagnosed with it, too. Another difficult thing is that disorders are not diseases. They cannot be cured. There has been researching about BPD but no cure was still found. So think this through before just branding ppl with titles and judgments.
@@elinatuktarova6725 I recognize that people with BPD are suffering as well and my heart goes out to them. However that, and whether or not one “truly loves them”, doesn’t magically make their abuse any less abusive nor does it justify it. No one is morally obligated to stay with an abuser nor are they committing some kind of sin by leaving them.
