    I'm not native in English, so I don't know how it sounds for natives, but I can tell you that in my native languages (I have two), I sometimes misunderstand what they sing in songs or what somebody has just said. it happens. And often people just speak in a wrong way. Very rarely you can meet a person who speaks even 99% properly and clearly. Leave alone regional features...

    Hi there! In the movie clips illustrating "sucker", there were a couple of examples where "sucker" was followed by "for" - e.g. "I'm a sucker for the classic American novel." -- That's another kind of "sucker" - "a person irresistibly attracted by something specified." (Merriam-Webster) I'm sorry to intervene but some of the viewers might be confused. That's why I took the liberty of adding the missing information.

      I think the key here is "irresistibly". Kevin defines a sucker as a person who is "easily" tricked or fooled. That can be expanded to mean a person who doesn't "resist" something in general (trickery, love of soccer, etc.), hence the slang meaning of "sucker".

    Hi Kevin, how you doin' ?.
    I was wondering, if something is correct, I mean if an expression or a word is correct, like you said, then we can say that expression or word, we can use it, even though it's not common
    Am I right Kevin ?
    just like in this example expression:
    - "She said TO me that it was wrong".
    or.
    - She said IT to me.
    AND.
    - He told me that story.
    or.
    - He told that story TO me.
    - He told IT TO me.
    (To tell something to someone)
    One more thing Kevin;
    The example on the screen says;
    - "He said it'S cold".
    I was wondering, shouldn't it be ?.
    - "He said it WAS cold".
    Thank you very much in advance for the answers Kevin 😊👍.
    I'll be waiting for them.
