    What are the part time jobs opportunities in Vaasa which one can do during their studies?

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  Рік тому +1

      Hi there, if you've applied to a university or UAS in that region, you might wish to ask them if they have such "local" information sources you could profit from! Anyway, it may be easier to start finding out about the local part-time work options once youäve arrived.

    Beautiful country, with beautiful people's but alas very limited job opportunities i wish to pursue my masters in drug development at University of Turku but, how's it gonna benifit me if there are no jobs in pharma field in Finland.

      Hi there Aniket! The University of Turku would perhaps be your best place to inquire about the job prospects or scientific research options in Finland after graduation from that field - they also have Career Services for their students sites.utu.fi/rekry/en/. To add to that, local language skills would of course be an asset when looking for employment, so it's a good idea to start learning Finnish or Swedish alongside with your subject studies. Work-related advice can be found at jobsinfinland.fi/ and www.businessfinland.fi/en/campaign-sites/find-your-finnish-future

      Hi, a limited number of degree programmes may offer a January study start - to these, you usually apply in September "joint application" at www.studyinfo.fi - check the Studyinfo database closer to September about the exact application dates, and what programme options would be available! Meanwhile, please get familiar with the starter's info on scholarships etc. at www.studyinfinland.fi

    Heii could you please reply on this
    I have Bachelor's and Masters in English language and literature And i want to become a teacher for that i am opting Master's in Education and Teaching in Finalnd is that a right choice????

    • @studyinfinland
      @studyinfinland  6 днів тому

      Hi, teacher's profession in Finland is fairly strictly regulated - you do need a Master's but also there are other requirements- see general info at for example:
      www.sool.fi/in-english/the-finnish-school-system/
      and
      toolbox.finland.fi/life-society/teachers-in-finland/
      In addition, you should keep in mind that the language of teaching in Finnish schools is predominantly Finnish or Swedish, so language skills may also be required.
      So if you plan to apply to a Master's in Education, you could contact the university offering the programme, and ask with them what requirements they have for those who wish to get a teacher's qualification - including the possible language skills requirement.
