I've done this, and the chalk blocks are still damp. That's why it crumbles so easily. These other videos show the chalk crumbling easily while being completely dry! But we're not being told the complete truth on how they achieved the easy dry consistency.

Chalk which you draw with and Gym/Climbing chalk are two different things. The first is Calcium carbonate, which is soluable in water, while the latter is Magnesium carbonate, which is virtually insoluable in water. Trying to use this mix of Drawing chalk and what's basicly Talc, isn't going to work as actual magnesia would.

Magnisium carbonate powder only makes grip when applying in hands to lift weights . Chalk and baby powder and starch are slippery

Probably not school chalk normally is composed of calcium carbonate or calcium sulfate and doesn't break apart easily nor have the drying properties that gym chalk (magnesium carbonate) does to help with grip.

Gym chalk is magnesium bicarbonate and the chalk you are using is calcium bicarbonate. It will not give grip and unlike gym chalk it will combine with sweat and become more messy.
