This makes me wonder why a lot of the cool mechanics and features that were in Storm 1 didn't return in the other games.

3D overworld was so cool but it wouldn't fit to naruto anymore because he doesn't jump wall to wall.

This would have been perfect add on to the future storm games , it's just like fighting in the anime , they also need the wall fighting back , I still have this game and I still think this is the best storm game they made

Darkness Rage Jutsu clashes were the shit, it's their fault for being so dumb that they wouldn't bring something as fun as this back which heats and intensifies a battle between you and your friends which shows a really good way to have a great time.

That is true, but it's still fun to do, just cause some majority of characters can't do it doesn't mean it shouldn't be brought back.
Damn! I forgot just how intense the Jutsu Clashes in this game were. This is what Storm 4 needs to have. If not for online then just in the campaign and free battle mode because this shit is absolutely epic. This is what all of the Storm games after Storm 1 have been missing.

Nejis rotation was actually good in this game. U could charge it, and while u chaged it deflected kunai. They could make clash an option. At least in offline play. On vs mode. This was great

Why do modern developers hate "clashes" so much? DBZ, Naruto, etc.
Right? The Naruto storm games should've had them after this one, and as for XV i know it's possible to have clashes without cutscenes since budokai 3 didn't have any sort of cutscene during beam struggles.

Man Thatcantbefound Yeah, but they just kinda collide and go about their business. It isn’t as cool or in depth like in the manga/anime. Also, supers have separate clash values, so some clashes aren’t even possible due to the collision being so weak. And also N E T C O D E

We are in PS4 and Xbox One Gaming generation, going on PS5. I refuse to believe if they were to add this mechanic in with the current Tech, it's going to lag online. You guys got to stop giving CC2 excuses. I can understand back at PS3 and 360 era, but we in 2019. Storm 4 still doesn't even compare to Storm 1. CC2 are super lazy.

this one had everything the others should of had , clashes , using the rasegan to break down walls on storyline , more than one jutsu , playable awakening mode from the very start , just everything

The only i thing I hate that they didn't bring back with the new games are that you can't play in a characters awakened state I don't want to wait till my naruto is half dead just so I can use his nine tails cloak form for like 2 mins
Ever heard of overpowered, dumbass? And Storm 3 features some characters that an awaken using the left stick without waiting for half health (includes 9-tails chakra Naruto, Minato,, etc.) but on the expense of slowly decreasing the max. chakra

I hope the clashes are brought back in Storm 4 along with the input for Ultimate Jutsu to give people a chance to either increase damage or interrupt it. I hope the Ultimate Jutsu are as badass as well. To me, Storm 1 was the best so far.

Seems like the newer the storm the bigger the explosions in the ultimates... not necessarily more badass. I still play Storm 2
Spumoon The explosions do not appeal to me in the newer storm games. They end very anti-climactic and even if they're bigger, the animation and time you can clearly see put into storm 1 is superior.

This, and the titan awakenings (Like madara's perfect susano'o) in naruto storm R for appropriate characters like Sasuke's perfect susano'o, AND in-game wall running like against sasuke, AND Ranged jutsu clashes, and the combos we knew in Naruto storm G, and permenant-awakening battles, All should be in naruto storm 4, they've GOT the capacity for it, no question..

Naruto Storm 1 was defo the superior and the best out of all the Naruto games. CC2 should have kept most of the modes like Jutsu Clashes, Original Ultimate Ninjutsu scenes, wall climbing, ultimate ninjutsu states and the rest for its successors.
If they did then I would have believed that Naruto Storm 4 would have been the best Anime fighting game at all times.
