Its rather sad that a man with the talent and charm of Donald O'Connor is today all but forgotten. Thank you, UA-cam, for preserving entertainment history and making it available for all to see.
His daughter Donna, is the spitting image of him. You can tell he was enamoured with her. I love how he brought in guest's he worked with previously too. He has so very many talented people in his repertoire.
When I was a teenager in the 90s, I wasn't quite like the other teens...I had a crush on Donald O'Conner! 😅 Thanks to my aunt and family who introduced me to musicals, Singing in the Rain was my favorite movie, and his charm (and gorgeous blue eyes) won me over. This is so sweet and fun to see, thank you!
Thanks and I enjoyed that so much. He was and still is the best and may god have a special place for such a nice sole in heaven. May he be tapping and dancing amongst the stars.
I haven't really been catching these in order, but I love the juxtaposition of Part 1 where Donald does the 'Something in the Wind' routine with a brash little child actress, with this one where his real daughter joins him. She seems a shy little thing, hardly entranced with performing for a crowd, quite unlike her vaudeville father at that age (or any age). Thank you for posting these!
Thank you for posting!!!.....One of the most enjoyable dance routines I've ever seen ever.........and I love the way he interacted with his daughter. What a great talent and human being!!

his daughter is so cute.
donna looks a lot like her father :)
I wonder where she's now
She's cute. Did she become an actress, singer or dancer?
