I didn’t know Thai AirAsia flies to Sydney yet, and I say this as someone who lives in Sydney. I know they plan to start flights in October, but I never knew back in June, they had flights.
Thai AirAsia X's first flight to Australia was connecting DMK with BNE in June 2019 using their A330neos. Then after covid, they started flights to SYD from BKK in December 2022 using their A330s.
since covid, they moved their base to BKK. but after reevaluation, they decided to move back to DMK to distribute the load of both airports. For some reason, they decided to postpone flights to SYD, while all of their other routes continue to operate from DMK right after. They announced to continue flights to SYD from 1st December this year.

i would probably avoid this airline in the future, mainly due to the fact that the seats are very narrow. I wouldn't be able to sit comfortably if I didn't have a whole row to myself. I'll have a trip report up soon.

@@justaflyer so when did Thai air Asia stop flying to Sydney? As of now, only Qantas and Thai airways fly to Bangkok.

@@justaflyer yeah. I do want to try this airline out. Haven’t even been on air Asia yet, but if I am to fly this, then it shall be Thai air Asia.
Is this a new safety insturction of a ThaiAirasiaX? because the sound of a annoucemnt is different
I'm not so sure, this is my first time flying with them. I didn't really notice any differences at first though.
