Ann Charters unpacks a curious tale of two wildly different poets and their childhood summers spent in Gloucester. The book contains seven poems by T.S. Eliot and Charles Olson as well as two commentaries, a poem and an essay, by Amanda Cook and Samuel Charters. Like the city of Gloucester itself this book and the GWC which it supports, is full of insight to the local history of these two young boys who viewed the world through poetry.
