Relive Evil Goku nostalgia in stunning 4K! Goku vs. Evil Goku IV picks up where Goku Versus and the game Evil Goku: Battle for Otherworld leaves off. The stunning battle between the good and evil Goku comes to a close as the final "Goku vs. Evil Goku" concludes. On July 5, 2013 Goku vs. Evil Goku IV was released on TheRedHeadHenry’s UA-cam channel. The animation was originally created at 720p. It has become a long time fan favorite from the series and has been upscaled to 4K. This video used the original project file resulting in little to no faults for upscaling. However, the 4K upscale has modified some assets presented due to the aspect ratio change and some minor glitches with effects. This upscaling was not done with AI, it is the same project file used from 2013 re-exported at 4K. Trying to keep to the original as much as possible I did not want to change or alter most of what is seen. However that said, I did modify sprites slightly in order to accommodate the new mouth sprites. Full list of changes below: CHANGES - Added modernized mouth sprites replaced black box mouth - cleaned up sprite faces to adjust for new mouths - cleaned up exposed knee sprite for SSJ4 Evil Goku, now has fur - Adjusted camera movement in one shot - Cleaned up some audio files - Added a scream by Evil Goku when charging Goku - Purposefully left sprite poses and camera movement as is for the old 2013 feel and did not update or modernize any sprites with current characters In order to preserve the original release as much as possible, no additional changes or fixes were made.
06:13 It's such a subtle change but i love the updated mouth sprites added especially when evil goku is smiling compared to Prime's original stoic flat mouth sprites from the original release throughout the fight. The modernized mouth sprites add more emotion to the characters, and especially shows the emotional differences between Prime and evil goku. The amount of times evil goku is smiling throughout the fight really shows just how much he's excited waiting for the chance to finally end Goku Prime for good. Masterclass of work as always Red.
I was 14 when this originally came out and I'll be 26 this August. Time has flew by like crazy. Seeing as SSJ4 is my favorite transformation in dragon ball, i looked forward to one day seeing GVEG4 more than any other animation in the series after Savage teased ssj4 in the original Goku Versus. And seeing at the time that this was the original conclusion to the series, i personally thought this was a perfect send off. I'm pretty sure i cried watching the credits role back in the day. There were little to no DB sprite animators who were comparable to your skill at the time. And honestly i haven't seen anyone match your cinematic style you developed over the years, even to this day. Closest might be hyourinjutsu. Red should definitely react to his work at some point. I love Red's creation of his own version of the 100 year GT time skip in evil goku's realm as well. It being semi-open ended also gave us the chance to see what eventually became GVZ. Words will never describe the impact you had on my childhood Red. Enjoy your retirement, you've earned it 👏. One final thing, what is the remix of the song starting at 23:28 ? I've been trying to find it for years.
Ive watched the Goku Verus Series, and man what a great experience that was! If only Dragon ball super had the consistent power scaling you've had in these animations!
Ah yes... the return of yet another classic. I'd like to say Mr. Red that you're one of the many reasons why I started my UA-cam series and even maintained it. At the end of it all I hope to leave an impact like you and many other animators out there.
It seriously has been 11 years? Where did all of that time go lol, i remember i use to watch the second part constantly and that was when they were ripping barriers in different universes. That right there made it that one of all and now we get to see another one. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can't believe it all started with Goku vs Evil Goku when I was a kid I was desperate to look for more Dragon Ball content like AF and all that till I found this series so glad I could ride along
Evil Goku also did training and fighting of enemies while GT Goku went thru the events of GT. Evil Goku Battle for Otherworld, is a game I made where you play as evil Goku during part of that time period. He also fought a much stronger Majin Buu, and perhaps other characters we don’t know about. Still Evil Goku had to go Super Saiyan in order compete against kid GT Goku in base.

Ironicaly, it was this battle that allowed the two Goku to get along.

Thanks dude. Glad the updates were appreciated, it was a big pain in the ass having to redo it. But I managed to pull it off.

Goku: Evil Goku: How I DESTROYED YOU
Evil Goku: And I Still Can Kill You Goku

I remember back when i watched the Video. Back then, i was stunned to see that Evil Goku win after more then one lose.

Funnily enough Goku turned Evil Goku into a Vegeta like character as shown in Goku Versus Z.
Hard to believe it's been 11 years, but at the same time it feels nostalgic. Red, if you read this, I hope you are doing well.
14:06 Ive been searching for years for that background music, but haven't got any luck
Amazing job with the video always awesome spites work. You always do great work.
No se mucho realmente de la historia, pero las animaciónes te quedan increíbles, me vi todo el goku versus z, simplemente un trabajo glorioso

Can't believe it all started with Goku vs Evil Goku when I was a kid I was desperate to look for more Dragon Ball content like AF and all that till I found this series so glad I could ride along

Can you maybe turn evil goku vs goku into a movie all of the evil goku vs goku put together in one video
That’s coming. For now I have playlists
😂😂 he killed him then said BROOTHHERRR!
Did you had to reanimate some scenes?
Questtion: If you were to remake the whole serires what would you do?
What does zamasu talk like that? (I had too for the funni)
I already watched it but I came back because of the zamasu comment 🤣
OH NO, THE REAL GOKU LOST :'(
I got nothing okay I just it just the same video for 11 years
I'm curious, shouldn't Goku GT be stronger than this evil Goku because he has more training time and experience? Evil Goku is more of the insane type

How can evil Goku use the spirit bomb? Hes literally evil.
It’s the Negative Spirit Bomb. He doesn’t ask living life forms for their energy, like Goku does. The bomb just takes it.
@@theredheadhenry thanks
Kewl idea, i love the negative kaioken color!
I Love This
Is kaio shin a girl in evil goku universe ?🤨
I suppose she would be given Universe -7 is a mirror opposite universe.
@@Jacob1451_Kapnobatai so she’s is a girl
