To me that is just about a perfect spot to test out a new pair of hunting boots. A beautiful stream running fast and cold. Steep terrain and some pretty soggy conditions. What a perfect place to stop for some hot Ramen Noodles and a warming camp fire. Looks as if the boots did pretty well. No busted ankles or blisters? I have been using rubber boots for quite a long time. Now I hike in a simple working boots with a steel toecap. Heavy, but very durable. And I love how high quality sole is. I love rubber boots, but people give strange looks here in Poland if I wear them
If those boots got you out of there, they have some good traction soles. I''m tired now from watching you climb out. That spot looks like one where you have filmed before.

I have found that every pair of rubber boots I buy doesn't hold up they leak .I have to say that is a beautiful spot you picked have a blessed day.
Some of them will but the ones I get don’t because I don’t leave them sitting in the sun
