Square Enix is proud to present the feature length film, “The Making of a Tomb Raider.” Previously debuted as a unique in-cinema event, the Lara Croft inspired movie follows renowned BASE jumper Clair Marie as she recreates iconic action sequences from Tomb Raider.
Relive memorable scenes from the 2013 release of Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the recently released Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Watch as Clair scales up jagged rock faces and leap like Lara.
Love how they didn't edited her failures out. She has courage, that's for sure!
There needs to be a Tomb Raider themed place to do this as a legitimate paid activity! I'd love to give it all a go, even if I'd be terrified the entire time 😆

Even with several setbacks, Clair Marie is the true Tomb Raider that would make Lara Croft proud to stand by her side. I salute her and she should receive Lara's necklace as a memento for her courage. Give her a round of applause.

A legit Tomb raider themed Ninja Warrior challenge needs to happen. Would love to see athletes compete to pull off Lara Croft's stunts.
Haven't ever tried those traversals from the game and used to think those won't be too hard but seeing a practical approach I'd say damn one needs huge amount of upper body strength to do most of these things.
Clair Marie… you are absolutely incredible… I loved every minute of this video thank you for putting it here for all of us. It really is exactly like I just witnessed a real-life Laura Croft… Thank you so much Claire and the team for making this possible. In theaters, the film started off with a recap of the first two reboot games (which you can find on their UA-cam) and ended with an exclusive sneak peek at a challenge tomb in Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It would have been amazing if only they released this film before the early release of Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Kind of hindered it for me to have a majority of the game completed and then watched this. An exclusive Red Shadow Pack DLC from Coke and a collectible (cheap) cup was also available.
I take back all the cuss words I said to Lara, when she fell down from walls, cliffs, planks and boards, coz this is fucking hard. 🤣🙌🏻
How does this not have 10x the views is what I'm wondering. This was all around amazing to see happen and to see her be able to push herself through the stress and the difficult situations she was placed in was impressive.

As an archer, I guess I noticed it quickly, but I found it interesting how they used a left handed lady (Clair Marie I think?) for archery stunts and then transitioned the bow shots to a right handed Lara Croft in the game. 00:08 to 00:14 .

Was hoping in that one scene in Shadow where she rises from the water with the fire in the background wielding TWO pistols but...I guess a machine gun killing spree is okay...

Claire-Marie's skills are super impressive, mental strength, concentration, physical fitness, healthy self-esteem, problem solving.
I love how she orderly put the fire extinguisher aside despite all these tough challenges

As much as i appriciated this... It obvi wasnt put together by people who were directly linked to the main story of the reboot games, or people who knew them very well... Because there are ALOT of inaccuracies and false statements... Still love this tho!!
I can't help but think if game designers take this on board, and have a stress fortitude and stamina focused take on the survival formula, and apply all this in a revived formula and overhaul the original 1996 Tomb raider game's trilogy, would also be great to see a non sexualised realistic revised version of Lara crofts original outfit O my goodness that would a masterstroke genius move if they applied and did this in that spectacular unreal 5 game engine, this doco is incredibly insightful and enjoyable to watch, thankyou immensely to all involved on this project, incredibly inspirational stuff

Not what I was expecting. Not disappointed but glad I didn't drive over an hour to see it in theaters.

A new endurance mode would be fun. Scouring the jungle, having flashes of Trinity soldiers and wild animals here and there, modern villages with shopkeepers (being able to purchase items) and civilians while also having abanded villages of the past, crypts would also be there. Fingers crossed.

@@@Aot While I love the challenge tombs, I don't really find myself replaying this game as much as Endurance, Cold Darkness Awakened, etc. There needs to be something re-playable that can be different each time. I also miss the card system. It added a great challenge.

*Replayed this game on a higher difficulty recently. My only quibbles is that Lara should have had dual pistols throughout and be able to punch and kick enemies. Other than that, love this title.*

Okay but ice climbing requires shoes with picks on it. You can't just climb with ice axes.
@Deanna Johnson even in the video game she has ice climbing shoes but for this video the woman only has regular shoes which is why she can't climb the wall. Duh!!!

You know I always wished the next tomb raider game should be hunting down the dagger of Xian since in rise of the tomb raider, there's a mentioned jade dragon of Xian in that Blood ties mission, and since after shadow of the tomb raider I have hoped n prayed she'd hunt down that dagger of Xian, in like a reimagined take of the original Tomb raider 2 and possibly a refreshed n reimagined modern new trilogy of her original adventures, gosh it would be awesome if that was a thing

Which is a lot harder to do in real life. Possible yes but easy without extensive training like Lara had in the games it's a lot more difficult and stressful. We should be proud of how well she pulled herself through and actually finishing at all. What a grand feat.

but never bring up the fact that Lara also did base jumping in Tomb Raider Legend,
