I'm used to see this level of performance in 1080p. The fact that this is 4K is amazing
I just upgraded my laptop and still can't get close to this performance in 1080p 😂
A low power 3050 laptop GPU is good, but is barely comparable to any modern desktop card.
Can't wait to finally experience gaming on a desktop when I buy/ build one.

@@katanashi1331 I knew exactly what I was getting.
I wanted a 13" 2in1 laptop, so having a dedicated GPU at all was a huge selling point and in my machine learning applications, this is about 5-12x faster than using the CPU.
With DLSS, RTX is just barely useable on the RTX3050 (40W), but definitely isn't a reason to buy the card.
But the RTX 3050 is still better than a GTX 1650 and the support for DLSS is a very welcome feature on such a relatively weak GPU.
What I don't know yet: do the RT cores in RTX cards help for 3d rendering like in blender?
Technically not actual 4k, the shader runs at 1/2 resolution then upscales. If you are playing at 4k, it means the game is running at 1080p. The shader version that runs at native res doesn't have "HRR" in the name.
Even though it's 1080p that's still surprisingly good, I got a gtx 1050 and play at 270p and can barely get a solid 25fps

Ех помню когда на пс4 впервые поиграл майнкрафт...
Этого ЛЕГЕНДАРНОГО испонителя зовут Даниэль, а в игре просто C-418 я его фан. Не знаю кроме него других шедевральных исполнителей. Кстати музыка на фоне называется Aria Math.
Но после того как Майкродолб.. Майкрософт выкупила Майн у Нотча Даниэль ушел из игры потому что он независимый исполнитель. Мне плохо, он уже не вернётся.... Теперь прошлую Легенду заменила либо лесби либо би с говняным озерсайдом и какая то китаянка.

@@g-man163 Майнкрафт сильно изменился - в худшую или лучшую сторону - тут уж точно не скажу. Меня и самого огорчает тот факт, что Даниэль перестал делать музыку для новых версий Майнкрафт из-за политики организации. Но я просто отношусь к Майнкрафту как к старому другу, с которым мы ещё в школе сбегали с уроков, обсуждали наши похождения и обедали вместе в столовке - мы оба со временем просто изменились. А потому, для меня старый Майнкрафт - это детское старое воспоминание, сказка, которая существует для меня и моих сверстников, которые полюбили бесконечные просторы именно этого мира.
Просто решил поделиться, а что ещё делать в комментариях к видео с такой замечательной музыкой)

Shaders plus max render distance is insanely beautiful.
there’s as well a resource pack that allows you to have a extremely high render distance without a enormous drop in performance
Imagine one day in the future low end computers will be able to run shaders like these with no problem.
One day the rtx 4090 will be a low end graphics card.
@@DatGuy12345 That would be amazing but I honestly think that greed from companies like Nvidia will prevent that from happening. As performance goes up they will make prices go up even if production costs go down. But I’m hoping you’re right.

how you are making comparisons? i thought it was replay mod stuff but when i download iris, i felt like it wasntlooking as good as optifine, and it doesnt even support kappa shader.

This is absolutely amazing. If Minecraft has a resurgence in the future, it has to be Minecraft on graphics cards like these with extravagant textures and shaders and such. This has to be an experience.

VR makes games more laggy than it is if it’s just on a screen because it has to follow the angle of the VR headset

@@SadJBomb No it's not. You don't even know how Minecraft work. Compared to a normal game that uses low poly objects in the far distance, Minecraft fully renders everything you see. So when tanking it with the heaviest shader out there and high res textures, of course your fps will be destroyed, those trees 64 chunks away are fully rendered. Vanilla is very lightweight, but it becomes a problem when modding. And let's not forget how unoptimized Minecraft really is, at least the java version, even with performance mods.

this was great. i would love to see similar test run with optifine and sodium as well. would probably get you 120fps+ constantly with RT shaders and the 512x texture pack.

Ideal combo is shader + base textures + 64 chunks. The shader fixes Minecraft’s very bland and flat shading, the performance is still in the ~100fps range even with so many chunks, and the vanilla Minecraft textures are a good compromise because they’re iconic and tile better (compare how obvious the seams in the leaves texture are in the HD pack vs vanilla).
vanilla pbr texture packs go really well with this

@@Budder99 Depends on a lot of stuff that you can't really pinpoint, just happens, like OpenGL issues on AMD cards. Works on some but not on others

@@michaelblue4619 It’s a little late to write, but “НДС” is a tax, everything that is sold is + the “НДС” tax, it is 20 percent, + now everything is imported into Russia in other ways due to sanctions, so electronics in Russia are about 30 percent more expensive + - than with the USA and other maybe.
wow nice ! i feel like the biggest problem with 4090 is gpu bottleneck, my laptop has 3050ti but even with it, i can get 45 fps with hrr 2.1 (i create a new world and set my chunks to 14 like you did) but i might be wrong tho since i dont know how it works at all xd
that's just because the 3050ti sucks and any 30s series card is not worth it until 3060ti and above. however the 40s series sucks too, just in a different, probably more dangerous way. I've heard the 4090 is the only one that's worthwhile too

You should also know, laptop hardware is not compatavle to desktop hardware. Laptop cpu's and gpu's are cut down to save on power and thermals so they work on a laptop form. A 3050ti kobole is probably comparable to like an rtx 2060 at most.

Seus PTGI HRR and RP really show how intensive this is, obviously running 64chunks but thats just more cpu intensive.
you gotta turn on Parallax Occulsion Mapping in the shader settings to get the full depth of the blocks from the texture pack.
Also, i would love to see how the rtx 4090 handles the KappaPT shaders. Those are the toughest to run shaders that i know of (true rtx like seus but even better and you gotta turn the reflection and lighting resolution to 100%)
rethinking voxels is also arguably better suited to minecraft while having fairly realistic lighting
