#diorama, #asylum , #abandoned
Not for nothing but if the floor tiles had curled it could have enhanced the old linoleum kind of look. Anyway, creepy as hell, I love it. If that was your first time sculpting a human then that's amazing, great work!
Thank you. Yeah, the tiles curling a little might have worked
Excellent and more than a bit sad…
This finished diorama tells a powerful, evocative story. But watching the building process was informative and therapeutic. Your builds never fail to impress on so many levels!

Thank you, I do hope the viewer can see a story in there
Definitely the stuff of nightmares!!!!
Really well done and love the creepy lady sculpt!!
Thank you
@@dodgydioramas you are welcome 🤗
Some soldering tips, if you don't have flux, use orange peels, the oil works like flux. To stop melting you other joints you can use a damp towel to stop overheating
Great tips, thank you
Sculpting tip, you can bake the body then add the arms and legs and bake again. You can bake and rebake to save your progress and the clay doesn't get harmed.
Thank you, very useful info
Fantastic job! It really captures the horror of these institutions ❤
Thank you
Wow that's awesome mind-blowing diorama,, dreaming those 3D printer,,looks very scary
Thank you! Cheers!
Outstanding diorama, very creepy but well done. Love all the details you put in it.
Thank you very much!
Amazing build, you never fail to surprise me with your projects!
Thank you very much!
Perfectly creepy. Nice job.
Glad you think so!
I love it, Keep it simple! The Way of Life! Great Build, Inspired me to finish my own little project! Thanks!! hehe!!! GOOD JOB!!!!!well sept the clown.,.. Not a Fan of Clowns!! haha!!
Thank you
When I have nightmares tonight . . I will know why! Nice build. 🙂
Mission accomplished
Latex, in the US, can be found cheaply a couple days after Halloween when all the stores are having their after-holiday clearance sales.
Very useful info, thanks. It's a bit far from the UK, though. Maybe the same thing happens here? I'll keep a look out.
always wanted to explore a place like this
Plenty like it around here unfortunately
love it! thank you.
Very nice mate 😚😚
Thanks for the visit
Loving how you've developed from the first few videos, great stuff! I was gonna suggest the mini torch, but you beat me to it. I'd also get a large wall/floor tile to protect the cutting mat from the heat as well. Should be able to get a sample tile from B&Q
Yeah, I was too lazy to go and get the slate tile I have and thought it better to put a hole in the cutting mat instead
So very happy to see you back with another very cool, not very dodgy at all, excellent creation! I was trying to imagine some other applications where actual brass or metal soldered together would be physically or visually preferable, I'm usually good at brainstorming but other than railings in library catwalks or library rolling ladder I I can't think of any particularly brilliant applications that would be better than something plastic painted to resemble metal such as pipework or metal scaffolding even if in a sifi or dystopian diorama
Thank you. The main advantage of brass over plastic is strength, so you can go thinner. Some sort of lattice work bridge? No real idea yet.
@@dodgydioramas maybe an HR Geiger inspired scene? I'd always loved his organic machines and all the, I don't know how you would describe little greeblies I guess in wires and pipe work lol
Interesting idea, I have an old Giger book somewhere, I'll have to dig it out.
@@dodgydioramas I do as well, it's one of his enormous ones, like 60cm tall, I think it's called (Necronomicon II)?
I have 'HR Giger ARh+' published 1996
I thought the clown you sculpted looked great.
Thank you, but it didn't look anything like what I'd planned
