Very well said, I think it's one of the first review that I finally see someone goes in depth to understand the Peyami character. Like you said, it's easy to focus on the most flamboyant character which was Dimitri and think the person was the better actor, but Peyami was a much more complex character to play because he had a lot of internal emotional turmoil that he had to deal with. That is why he would end up with anxiety attacks. And the lead actor Cagatay played him to perfection, you could always feel the character's pain and struggle to accept his father's mental illness, his love for Esvet that wouldn't go away. That's why I love season 3, it's an emotional journey , yes it was messy, but that's what make his character real, but a lot people missed that point.

Радует, что не все зрители поверхностно оценивают представленный сериал, и смотрят внимательно! Многие оценили игру актера Салиха в роли Димитрия выше,чем Чагатая -Пеями!? А я считаю ,что неадекватного Дмитрия легче сыграть,чем очень сложную роль Пеями! Думаю,что все герои вокруг главного героя лишь "оформление" ЕГО сложного жизненного пути! Хотя лично мне больше понравился
2-й сезон,там ,по моему мнению,играли все актеры "на пределе", очень интересная роль была у Беррак - Джемре! И меня совсем не смущали "нескромные" сцены в сериале,это жизнь...В 3-м сезоне только Дмитрия "вывели в герои"сценаристы !? А последняя серия несколько "лубочная", идеализированная.А Димитрий с подзорной трубой - это вообще 18-19 век!!! 😂😂😂 Но в общем сериал неординарный, интересный...Чагатай всегда красивый! Но очень ещё хочется увидеть его опять молодым и красивым в романтической , например,роли! Ведь ему всего лишь 33 года- это самый прекрасный возраст! ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🌄🌄🌄🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥

I believe that Cagatay played this role, like no one else, expressing all the inner feelings through the metamorphoses of the body and voice, through the mimicry of the face and the flickering of the eyes, which speak beyond words. Cagatay had a tough role to tackle but nailed it with a stunning performance. Terzi is, first of all, a psychological series, transposed through moments of action that chose to address all the feelings that a vulnerable man goes through, with a past that he hid in his soul for decades. That past caused him anguish and panic attacks, but at the same time, it raised him to great heights in the fashion world, to carry on the tradition of his grandfather's famous tailor. The liberation from these nightmares that Peyami is facing, will only be when he admits in front of everyone, the existence of his father in his life, and this happened in season 2.
As Peyami's mother told her in Season 2, people like Mustafa are angels and those who understand that and take them under their wing share that kindness and beauty. Peyami truly loved Dimitri. And Dimitri loved Peyami, but in a different, more selfish way. Peyami's presence in his life made Dimitri feel special because he hated this life and world in which he dragged his existence under the insults and ironies of his father, Ari.
As a small child, Dimitri tried to be above Peyami, as a kind of leader, a role model. Why? Because Dimitri never knew true family love, but above all, he was not valued by those around him, as any child in this world wants.
While he was being punished, locked in that crate by his father, his mother never stepped in to save him, to defend him. Ari's words would guide Dimitri throughout his life, as his father took care to poison him with this saying:
"In life, winners don't feel sorry for anyone, not even themselves."
And so does Dimitri, even with Peyami and Esvet, although he loved them in his own way.
Although he was aware that Esvet does not love him but Peyami, Dimitri marries her, even though he is convinced that the two love each other and that Peyami had admitted in season 2 that he loved Firuze, not on Esvet. Basically, Firuze was Esvet and this detail, as far as the name is concerned, is of no importance.
Esvet, for his part, admits that he loves Peyami before he accidentally shoots him (he actually wanted Dimitri - at the end of season 1), and despite all this, Dimitri remains impassive in the face of the love that had been silently growing between them two.
I think the only one who realizes how dangerous Dimitri is in moments of anger is only Esvet. And she is aware that Dimitri could do a lot of harm to Peyami if he doesn't cut ties with her. The only way she could protect Peyami from Dimitri's wrath was to accept marriage with this man, whom she did not love at all. In the love triangle that can be seen in Terzi, none of the 3 are honest with each other, and the self-respect has diminished in all of them, it is invisible.
Everyone has well-kept secrets, secrets that are revealed only because of certain conjunctures forced by the circumstances in which the characters will find themselves at a given time. From here I realize, that the notion of "blood brothers" for me is not valid as a reference point to count the love that can be born from this friendship. Peyami hides from Dimitri the existence of her father and her love for Esvet. Dimitri hides the fact that he realizes that Peyami and Esvet love each other and forces his wife to submit to him, terrorizing her, instilling in her the fear that he awakens in every cell of her body when he tells her that he loves her, but and that she would kill whoever came near her.
It is an intimidation through the force of words, a manipulation of the feelings that Esvet is dealing with regarding Peyami. Esvet, for her part, lies and does not admit to Dimitri, her relationship with Peyami.
Blood brothers, they could be called in childhood when Dimitri was protective of little Peyami, but even then, his unpredictable character erupts due to his jealousy of Peyami, when he receives that foal from Ari as a gift.

Cagatay does roles that fulfill him spiritually and bring him satisfaction and he is not a linear actor. He had love projects that stayed in the minds of viewers and surely, he will move on to develop professionally. It's not hard to play the role of a lover, Turkish series, that's all they do. But Cagatay has raised the bar, he wants to play something else, not just the role of a lover. Probably Centilmen will be a love movie, let's hope that we will see this project in 2024 on Netflix (filming ended on December 25, 2022).

Don't worry about Cagatay! He is an intelligent actor who knows what he wants in life. As long as he follows his path, he will be happy! For him, acting is spiritual fulfillment. I have been a fan of Cagatay for over 9 years and know him quite well from his honest and extremely mature interviews. Cagatay, is an accomplished actor who shines like a diamond. His projects keep getting better and better over the years!
