- My wife shows how she install/upgrade to a new sport grille on a Mercedes C300. The grille installed has chrome blades/fins but was custom wrapped in 6D carbon fiber vinyl.

Cause you don’t have the same car. This video is for a w204 c-class. Not a w205 c-class.

It’s not misleading when you don’t know what car you have. The title clearly says “w204” which is a pre 2015 c300. I have a another grille video on the 2015+ c300. Try watching that instead of calling this video misleading when it’s not even for your car.

Hey Flexx, when removing the plastic trim and lifting up the three tabs i can’t get the one on the right to lift up. I don’t want to break it, is there any easy method of removing these?

I put the grill on my C350.. and there was an 1 inch gap across the top of grill with hood... what’s wrong?

I Bought the same grid as the video, but it does not hold as well as original, if i hit the grill at bottom it disengages, and the original grill no. How can i hold well the grill? With glue?

So although all the info is correct believe me it is not that easy. For example both trim clips broke, grill really didn't want to push in. But it's in and already receiving compliments. So I'm thinking that you should lube the hell out of where the clips attach to the metal radiator surround and maybe heat them also. Also wear leather gloves as those damn clips will cut you pretty good.

I got a 09 c300 luxury 4matic, just replaced the front grill, i tried to replace the lower grill and fog light covers but seems that the luxury model has a different front bumper design. Do you know where i can get those parts for the luxury edition?

Did you wife installed the support bar back or is it not important
She didn’t. I didn’t on mine either. It’s not really needed if the tabs hold onto the bumper well. Plus leaving it off makes removing the grille easy if I have to do work in that area.

2013. Not the same. 2017 you need to remove bumper. I did a whole video on that in my 2015+ C-Class Mods video playlist.

At the service center they practically charge you $200 just to look at it, another $200 to take the old one out, and another $200 to put the new one in. And, they'll charge you about $1000 for the new one before installation.

Yes, someone backed into mine and they collision center quoted me $2000. I can't believe how easy this is and how much they're raping people. I can actually still use my grill if I reattach it to the tabs, but I'm gonna buy a new one and replace it myself

@The Flexx Garage Yea, I was stressed out about paying the 2k. I didn't know if it'd ever get fixed (my car got hit while parked on a street). Cops can't find footage, and nobody knows who hit my car. I can see the tabs and the grill pushed back (just like she did in the video), but after posting on reddit, someone recommended this video to me... This is like a cheatcode lol and I've always thought about changing my grill to black (because I have black wheels)
I have done that on mine, but I didn’t like the gloss black plastic. So, I first sprayed it with a matte or frosted clear coat. Looks much more factory.

I have a complete different question ,so I changed it my rims to aftermarket rims and new tpms senors and now I’m having an issue with them . They say they are connected but the diagram of the car with all the tire pressures next to them isn’t showing up didn’t know if you have seen or heard of that issue . I also don’t have a engine light on so it has to be connected to something

Cause it’s not really needed for my car. The grille is sturdy enough and clips in well.

Depends on your year. My 2011 c350 old star did not fit in the diamond grill.

You can. It’s not necessary if the replacement grille fits well and it’s not cheaply made.

Who said it doesn’t fit the coupe? The coupe and the sedan is the same grill for a c250 and c300 and c350. Just not a the c63.
