- Democratic Vice Presidential nominee and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz was in Winston-Salem on Thursday, Oct. 17 for a campaign rally as early voting began in North Carolina.
Walz was hosted at Carver High School in Winston-Salem, along with Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough, rapper Common and others.
