@@OregonBatman we usually host a gathering but had to cancel it this year. There is an event called fall brigade late September in Mulino OR. I think it's still a go for this year.
Great job Al! I like the chrome trim on the fender lights, when you will be braking or flashing, nobody will miss it, which is very important. Yep, those sticky cable holders won't last long in place, I agree with you that you will have to add some screws to secure them. When I saw that you are using the same stabilizers jacks as me in my project, it reminded me the nightmare of installing them, they are so poorly designed because one of its two holding bolt is very hard to reach... Well, I look forward to seeing her attached to your truck and leaving for her maiden voyage!
You did a great job. But if it was me installing the lights I would have put them much higher and run my wire harness through the frame 1st thing. I really enjoy your work.
Thank you James! I agree... I will have to put a little more thought into the next build for the wiring. But I assure you, it is well lit up at night when the lights are on! And like you, many who watched what I did, will get their juices flowing to do something a bit different. Things they normally wouldn't have thought of now gives them great ideas for their build! A lot of people have already turned out some nice looking builds! Thanks again James and thanks for the feedback!
It's looking good! Those lights add some class to it. This was a fun journey you took us on. I was wondering if your going to paint this or if it will stay white? I hope there will be more videos like this to come.
Thank ya Hyper! I'll be keeping this white... have a few extras I'll be doing to it to make it pop! Not sure what I will do next, but wouldn't mind doing another! :) Cheers!
Thanks Chas! The plastic blocks are HDPE plastic, just scraps that I had laying around. An alternative would have been to use some wood blocks. Either way will work! Thanks again!
Thanks - I ended up ordering some UHMW Poly. I think plastic would be best - weathering wise. Of course an aluminum bar would work too, but much more $$$.
Hi Steve... I used a larger hole for the wiring to go through and since the wires are not close to the edge decided not using the grommets. Clamped down, they won't move
Al another great video, you are a true inspiration to us all that love the teardrop! I am looking forward to the weigh as I have been holding back design aspects based on your weight. Again Al thanks for what you have presented to us all! One question for you though Did you consider running the wiring harness after the frame was completed? LOL I hate laying on my back working above my head.
Thanks Dan319611! Pretty sure this trailer will come in at around 1000 lbs when finished as it is built. My frame is pretty heavy. Can be built lighter.
Actually wire ties are incredibly strong. I wouldn't even worry about the self-stick mounts as that adhesive is very strong. I've used both many times without any issues. Never had one fall off on its own. And I've never had a wire tie break or loosen on its own either. I use them for everything!
Those plastic t-connectors are garbage. They are easy to tap a wire onto an existing without cutting or anything. But they do not last. Five-six years, depending on humidity.
She's looking better each time. Great Job 👍
Awesome! Glad you are still hanging in there!
That’s a Great way to remember the wire colors and their functions!
Those are really nice setup
Thank you Michael!
Looking sharp, good job. Maybe see you at a rally somewhere. Teardrops of Oregon Washington
Thanks Randy! Be pretty cool to get together at one of the rally's! I'll be looking to see if something comes up for September/October!

Fantastic. Those plastic blocks make this an even more professional install. Great idea!

I was refreshing the app, to get the video as soon as you publish it!
Lol...!
Yet another great job, Albert!
One step closer!!!
Congrats!!!
Thank you Diego!

Those tail lights 😍 where does one find them?
Hi Sergio! I shopped around on eBay for the tail lights... wanted something that would match, fender lights and taillights. Thanks for stopping by!

Getting closer to camping! Any idea where your first trip is going to be?
Real close now! First road trip might be to Nevada, long haul but gonna be fun!
Hey Albert!
What’s the plastic? Where did you find it?
Great job, I want to follow your lead 🤓
Thanks, Chas

I really like the LED Lights, but wondering why you didn't use rubber grommets on the fender lights to keep the wires from being cut thru??

License plate mounting and light ?
Nope... not yet
IMO those plastic wire tees are the worst solution for wiring. Especially in wet and dirty conditions.
Agreed. I've had to fix numerous exterior wiring issues due to the corrosion those clips started.
True... I will have to eventually replace them once they start to wear. They will give me a couple good years though before I do!

@@toronado455 Wire Tees, not the adhesive wire ties.

Thanks Wesley... I'll be keeping an eye on them!!
