It really seems nice! I’m on the fence about getting one. On one hand I already got two pikocore and it so nice putting melodic loop into one and sync it with a breakbeat fulled another. So a new toy maybe too much. On the other hand, this seems to have so much fx on it to play. I feel the fx on the pikocore are not as “immediate”. If I understand right the samples are on the microsd card? For me workflow wise it’s a big bonus. Anyway, because you are doing a lot of videos with it, I would really appreciate a video comparing it to the pikocore. Maybe sync it?
that's a great idea! samples are on the sd card, yeah. audio quality is much better. better fx. everything is much better imho. there's a much better tool for putting samples on now too: zeptocore.com/tool

pikocore is lofi - 8-bit 33khz mono, zeptocore is good audio - 16-bit 44.1khz stereo. zeptocore has additional effects (distortion, loss, saturation, bitcrusher, timestretch, delay, comb filter, beat repeat, scratch, autopan, pitch reduce) in addition to the pikocore effects. zeptocore uses an sd card for samples so it has no limit to the sample length. zeptocore can sequence samples as well as sequence effects. zeptocore has a wavetable bass synth built-in. zeptocore uses 2x AAA batteries for longer battery life. zeptocore has more buttons so it has more variety in playstyles

Was also wondering about this. I love making weird rhythms by printing FX over certain parts of the loop

as a kit yes! but not a bare pcb because of all the smt soldering
