Fascinating that a little box can sound like two truck loads worth of electronicas in the age of TaDream.
Or like 1000s of $$$ Eurorack setup in 2023 :)
@@mdeerocks6792 - I may be incorrect but I think he's using two Syntakts in this video which would literally be 1000s of $$$ in 2023, but he sure uses them well doesn't he?!?
@@mdeerocks6792 From the description, he uses a Syntakt and a Digitakt, and also a 2021 14 inch Apple MacBook Pro for direct recording to DAW. From what I can find on the web, the total value of this set is about 4200 € (including a DAW like Ableton Live 11 Suite)
Oh I know. Still pebbles compared to the boulders Edgar and Johannes schleppt around.
@@MrArpSolina IIRC he uses Bitwig as his DAW.
Man I love listening to your stuff. It's weird being out here and having no idea where the sounds are coming from - the Syntakt, the laptop, in your DAW, etc., but the vibe is wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
It’s nice to have a channel doing such a good content .
I’m trying to figure out what is better for me. An Analog Rytm mkt 2 or the digitakt + the syntak.
I need one or the other to create my own drum samples in the studio.. I work a lot with sound design and in the DAW I usually use synth and sample layers to make my own drum sounds.
When I say digitakt + syntak it’s because I’m thinking about syncing the MIDI of the two devices and layering the synth (of syntak) with samples (of the digitakt). Example: in digitakt a clap sample and in the syntak a synth model clap.
I’m trying to figure out which choice has more sound design power.
In the Analog Rytm mkt 2 I can resample… but in the digitakt + syntak it looks like there is a bigger range of sounds for me to tweak and experiment with.
What would be your suggestion?
Thank you!
The beauty is in the minimalism.
this is sooooooooo goooood. I close my eyes and i am back in the 70s tangerine dream heaven era. Thanks for this
Fantastic music !
I am simply awe stuck... you are Legend
Музыка Космос!!! )))👍
Fantastic, more please
That timbre of that square wave sequence makes me nostalgic about my old Korg EX-800. Lovely.
Great track, amazing what you do with these synths…
Love your work, jedi level talent.
Hi State Azure !
I've been worshipping your sound for a while.
I don't mean to be as competent as you are.
I play the electric guitar and I use a Strymon Nightsky pedal which literally turns my guitar into a synthetiser.
But I feel frustrated.
So I'm asking for advice.
As a first synth, I'm planning to purchase a Cobalt 8X..
Along with my Strymon Nightsky it should drop a pretty nice sound
Sounds good to you ?
Yeah I think so, I've always liked the sound of the Cobalt, it seems like a fine synth. Never owned a Nightsky but it seems like a nice reverb.
Cool piece! Like that "bird" sound, really nice.
What a great title! Love the sounds you evince from this little gem. Look to see this track on your next bc album. 👍
I'm quite jealous. Your set up is awesome and you're very skilled. All thr best. Here for a third. :)
Thank you!
Hey bro, dont know about you but, its sooo hard not do ctrl all. Nice piece. I use these two too but no daw. They are amazing machines. Elektron sequencing is elite. 👍
You make gorgeous music.
Thank you!
How did you get the arps going? Are they from Syntakt? Which machine did you use for them? They are really great.
Thanks! I don't remember what machine I used, but it's not important to making the arps, I'm just using the sequencer per track function and limiting the steps quite a lot for those parts I think. I did a live stream on the channel where I created this track from scratch.
@@stateazure I was looking on Twitch and I cannot find it anywhere seems like there is no back catalog of your past live streams? Would it be possible to back it up somewhere? I am just watching the Sound Design with Omnisphere that's nice to watch, really. Would be a shame to not be able to watch them later. Gives me Deus Ex vibes. You should be scoring video games mate.
@@twingems5332 This live stream was on UA-cam, check my channel under the 'Live' tab. I'm thinking about how to backup my Twitch stuff.
@@stateazure Thank you I will! Yeah, the Omnisphere and other content have very nice learning value. It would be great to have a backup somewhere. I tried a sequencer per track on my Syntakt with the analog voices... namely RAW and it's very powerful. It's nice how you can route the delay into reverb and vice versa + stack the FX on top of each other with modulation etc.
Goosebumps. Thanks so much!
Hi, great sounds - really enjoying your work !!
Every1 you guys perform is a master piece.... thankU ❣️
Loved this! The subtle textures, the mesmerizing arp, the lush reverb (is that reverb purely Elektron or DAW enhanced?)
It's Elektron only until right near the end where I added some Valhalla Shimmer to one of the multitracked parts, I'm not sure it's that noticeable though.
@@stateazure It sounds fantastic from start to finish. Well done!
yeah the Elektron effects are really good
Wonderful !
Really nice sounds!! Inspired to use my Syntakt..
phenomenal music, mastery I love it❣
This is brilliant!
How cool is that;
Super cool
Fantastic SA
..
Wow wow wow! Mega wow and giga wow! 😅
Can you share what your setup was for this? Cabling, etc.? I have a D2 with a Syntakt on the way and I just want to know how to set it all up. I ant to record direct to my DAW as well.
From what I remember (and because the Overbridge isn't finished for D2), I had the Syntakt connected to my DAW via overbridge (over USB), then MIDI-Din cable from Syntakt into Digitakt (Digitakt slaved to Syntakt), so that they are synced, audio cables were then only needed out from Digitakt 2. So I think my DAW would start the Syntakt sequencer, which in turn started the Digitakt synced to Syntakt if that makes sense. Once the Digitakt 2 overbridge is ready, I would just use both via overbridge.
651... me encanta...
Cool sound!
Я очень согласен с тобой и твоими звуками!

Your music is a real treasure, love it! I tried to find anything about copyright but didn't succeed, so could you please tell me if I can your your music in non-profit youtube project? With all the credit, of course
Thanks! As long as I'm credited, I don't mind at all!
@@stateazure thank you very much!
great ❤
Hopefully you may consider Syntakt track from scratch during live stream
This is the second one from that live stream. I might do the 3rd one too, but I think the other two needed a little work.
👍🏻
Мне кажется нет никого, кто был бы против этих звуков?
Not seeing much activity on the digitakt....what is it doing?
It's just playing back the sample loop you hear at the start. I didn't care to do much with the Digitakt, I've had it for years, but the Syntakt I only picked up recently, so the focus was on that.
Syntakt! Bad Gear lol(not at all bad gear)
There is an argument to be made for bad gear in these underpowered boxes :)
