He asked her if she watched the documentary? The answer should have been a simple yes or no. Then when she tries to go into a speech and gets cut off, she and other liberals are offended because she's not being allowed to answer the question. The chair needs to tell her to answer the question and not make speeches. And that if she does decide to try and make a word salad speech, she will be cut off. Ah, but I can dream, can't I. When they limit your questions to 4-6 mins to hold government officials to account on behalf of your constituents and they spend 80% of it providing non answers and exposition... You should be able to reclaim your time and move on. This is the Liberal Caucus members disrespecting Canadian Parliamentary committee by not providing answers and clarity to Representatives sent there by millions of Canadians to ask those questions and get answers.

If someone talks about how the number 3 is a beautiful number, then asks what 2+2 is, and the response starts with "Yeah let's talk about 3", that's a moment where it's your duty as chair to interrupt as it's clear the actual question isn't going to be answered. This is time sensitive, so any time wasted is a big no-no. When it's clear the answer won't be given, interrupt and ask the minister to get back on topic

How can there be affordable housing in Canada when so many Canadians speculate and engage in bidding well over the asking prices? Are not those who play the market not at fault, or at least contribute significantly to this problem?
